The Hen Who Wouldn't Give Up

I got this book to read to my grandson when he comes to stay as he is a bit frightened of the dark at my house.The stories of Plop the little owl seem to hit the spot.The Hen Who Wouldn't Give Up also seemed relevant as he is learning about perseverence, so two books in one is excellent value.

Vaguely remember this book from when I was a boy and was delighted to find it was still in print. Actually bought it for my niece who rarely gets books for her birthdays and I wanted something special for her.Turns out it's now her favourite story. Her mother has to read it to her once a week. Will pick up the other books in the series for her Christmas present.

Good book with a lesson

LOVE this book! Every page is a delight. My girls, aged 7 and 5, begged for more, laughed, squealed and were kept well entertained while I read. Brilliant!

Lovely little book for my 7 year old granddaughter. She loved it. Suitable for 7 year olds upwards. Quick delivery too.

Lovely book. So funny. My 5 year old and me really enjoyed this. Still enjoyable after many repeat reads.
