Victorian Steampunk Bustle Skirt 6 Layered Tie-on Belt Tulle Tutu Overskirt

Package came compressed of air. Carefully cut open bag not to cut when it re-inflates. Crumpled from being compressed but I'm not looking for perfect, I just shook it out and hung it up. It will get sat on anyway. Black waistband is well sewed attached to sturdy double sided sash with ample length to tie in front. My corset hides the bow anyway. There is a very sturdy underlayer of tulle to make it stick out at the top then the softer layers cascade down. This is an over-skirt-accent and not meant to be under a skirt for support. I checked the length to make sure it would not be too long for me since I'm 5'3 and it looks absolutely stunning!! Exactly as I wanted! And it got here in 2 days as promised!

I wore this in a gay bar on Halloween and it stayed on all night, looked great, and felt great. At first I thought it would have been itchy, but I barely even noticed I had it on all night. My only issue is that I could not iron it for fear that the tulle would melt, so I tried to steam it. However, the wrinkles would not come out no matter how many times I steamed it. It still looked great and the wrinkles are barely noticeable unless your face is right next to the garment. It was a fun accessory that really brought my Halloween costume to the next level. If you are okay with a little bit of wrinkle, I highly suggest this item!

Great Steampunk accessory piece. It does come vacuum-sealed in a plastic back, and it does take time to steam the wrinkles out, but added a cute bustle effect to my Steampunk Queen of Hearts cosplay. I only gave 4 stars because when I was pulling the bustle down from under my corset, the tulle got a hole in it from where it was sewn to the satin ribbon. The tulle is fairly thin, but this is what makes it lightweight and "floaty." As I have a sewing machine, I just stitched it back up. Considering the cost, I am happy with this purchase - I'll just be more careful when I tug on it.
