Good Product- With one minor caveat easily remedied
The product was overall a good deal; there is one very important caveat. It’s in olive oil, but the salt % was very high and this caused a very brine, salty taste coming straight from the can. To overcome this salty, brine taste, I had to soak the product in water for a few minutes before actually eating or mixing with scrambled eggs or other foods. The salty, brine taste is a manageable issue in exchange for the healthy quality of the seafood; otherwise, this is a good buy. I asked AI how to get rid of the salty taste and it did wonders.

Delicious Sodium Overload
Yum. Good Quality. Lazy cooking. Salty. Portable. Good shelf life. Recyclable packaging too.

Worth the price
These anchovies are more expensive than other brands sold on Amazon, but are worth the extra money. The other brands are mushy and bony but this brand has a great texture and flavor and seems to have fewer bones in each filet. Yes, they are salty but they're anchovies!

Good product
Better than most completion I would like though to find the whole fillet as Sardines for example not just the salty ones The fish as it is basically not this kind skinless and boneless

Horrendous!
I'm a huge consumer of King Oscar products. That said, I usually enjoy anchovies, sardines, mackerel, and similar products—especially from King Oscar—but there was something noticeably "off" about these anchovies. When I opened the can, the smell was unusual, but I thought, "Maybe these have a unique flavor." However, as soon as I ate the first anchovy, it became clear that something was wrong—they were likely spoiled or part of a bad batch. I checked the expiration date, which showed there were still four months left, but the experience left me concerned that I might have eaten spoiled fish. Unfortunately, due to Amazon's return policy, I can't send back the 17 unopened cans, so they’re headed for the trash. I'll need to be more cautious when ordering King Oscar products in the future.

Nice fish in crappy cans....
Outstanding anchovies! Firm and pinkish salted fish in olive oil from Morocco that melt when fried as a salty, umami base for any saute, stir-fry, etc.. Eggs In Purgatory, anyone? The minor bummer is that the best-by date is November 2026. For those who like to consume before the best-buy date, that's a lot of anchovies to eat in 8 months. The major bummer is the crappy cans King Oscar uses to package these nice fish. One can popped its seam in transit. This made an oily mess of the parcel and carton. So far, the pull tab on every can I've opened detaches half-way through the opening process. The initial pop and first half of the pull is easy. Then, a harder pull is needed, and the tab comes off. This can make a big mess, unless you're super careful. Make sure braced on a counter top while opening. Better still, pop and pull with the tab about 1/4 of the way off, then grab a pliers to finish the job.
