I didn't want to purchase plastic, but the metal cans are cost prohibitive. This will work fine for purpose and likely last me the rest of my gardening life. Sturdy, easy to keep clean. I use it outdoors so there isn't an issue with how it pours. I would not use it inside my house.

Mine doesn't leak and it has a nice gentle flow rate which is good for watering newly planted seeds. The product was as described by the seller.

Fits well under my rain barrel. The spout puts out a fine sprinkle, just right for seedlings.

The one thing that I found to be the worse part of this was the main reason I bought it and its main selling point, the spout. Mine came cracked and split and just keeps getting worse over time. Basically at this point its dumps water where I’m trying to do a rain like soft pour. Disrupting everything the water falls upon. Do what I didn’t do, either just don’t buy or ensure you check the tip as pictured for even the slightest fade in color or crack. The rain ring in the spout is just too large and during their making it’s being jammed in there eventually causing splitting. Didn’t even have six months. AGAIN! If you see any sort of fade in color or distortion or the slightest split anywhere in the cap, RETURN IT! I gambled it and it split and now a waste of money on a useless jug. Maybe use it as a planter now.
