I am super amazed with this product. So far, I’ve found only a handful of colostrum products that I'd recommend and this in one of them. I'm still in early days of using colostrum to help in healing symptoms and side effects of a rare autoimmune disease, so I will try my best to come back six months from now and provide an update. [I hope someone reminds me if I forget. :-) ]My experience thus far with colostrum has been amazing. I am 58 and was diagnosed with a "sorry we can't help you with your condition" autoimmune disease at the age of 18. Colostrum is making a positive difference. My skin, which has been acne prone my entire life, is starting to clear. My mood is stabilizing (having suffered from intermittent depression for 15 years). This is not a quick-fix miracle cure, but it is a supplement that's advised in alternative, complementary, integrative and function medicine. I became disenchanted with convention medicine decades ago because big pharma treats symptoms not causes. 'Nuff said on that soapbox.PROS:• Large and small sizes available• A complete whole feed—exceptionally nutritional• Third Party Verified True 6-Hour Colostrum• Nice aroma (kind of like vanilla essence)• Pleasant taste (cheese-like)• Grass-fed cows, no hormones or antibiotics• Good results (don’t expect overnight miracles—go for the long-term results)• Fabulous for the face—mix up a smidgen with water and apply all over face—it dries to a smooth finish. I leave it on all day and reapply again at my nighttime face routine.CONS• Doesn’t mix well with water—some people say they mix it with a tablespoon of yogurt or put it in a smoothie. I just eat it and drink lots of water as I go. I read that you’re not supposed to take any colostrum product with acidic foods like citrus, tomatoes, vinegars, or meds, like aspirin.Love this product! I bought the 2.2lbs and will, without a doubt, buy it again (repeatedly!). I'm currently taking a therapeutic dose of 1 Tbsp 2x per day. After 30 days I plan to drop back to a standardize dose of 1 tsp. once or twice per day. This product is worth every dollar!

I bought this product because of the brand recognition. I assumed it was grass fed organic because the creator of surthival was a purist back in the day, foraging and wild crafting his food. Once I got it I used it before I realized it makes no mention of any sort of good sourcing and quality. The most it says is “natural “ means nothing, and “non gmo”. Great. I’ve got this huge expensive container of questionably sourced colostrum and really don’t want to use it because of its non commitment to the integrity of the brand’s past. Bummer. Do better.

Colostrum is pretty amazing. I have used this stuff for 5 years. The cheap stuff works too, just take longer. I had went to the dentist for a filling that came out. The dentist put the filling back in. since the tooth was in the very back of my mouth, and I have a small mouth, the dentist had a hard time filling the hole completely with amalgam. So when I flossed, the string would go in that hole on the back side. I would eat some colostrum every day after dinner, almost like a snack. I like the taste of it. I started to realize, the floss wasn’t going in the hole anymore BECAUSE there was NO hole. My tooth grew back and filled up that space around the amalgam. Also, another time later, I was having problems with my front teeth feeling sensitive. I took this powder and smeared it on my front teeth at night for a couple of days and it went away. Over 20 years ago, I was working in a dentist office and The dentist’s mother would come in and talk to me sometimes. She was in her 80s and told me that she never had a cavity. she lived on a farm as a little girl and would drink cows milk straight from the cow. She told me how she had a beautiful skin and no cavities. This brand is strong, so I can’t eat a lot of it. About 2 teaspoons a day. I love this taste and it can be addicting.

This colostrum is by far, the best of the best. It’s expensive, sure, but it’s the quality product you get that justifies it.The flavor is utterly delicious (I eat it uncontrollably by the spoonful!), the texture is rich and smooth and buttery/milky, and the health benefits are wonderful.I have tried many other brands of colostrum and have been really, really disappointed. After Surthrival, you won’t be able to consume another brand. It’s so good. Great job Surthrival!

this was a great buy the product was fresh and it seems that this gives me that extra boost of energy and immune support

I just bought this product so I can only comment on the taste. I got vanilla and it is actually just fine. I was concerned it might be chalky or offensive in some way. It melts into my cup of coffee with no problem at all and actually enhances the flavor and cuts out the need for any sweetener. So... so far I have no complaints and look forward to seeing benefits hopefully over time.

The website displays the product was in a jar. However, I received it a supposedly resealable bag. It is NOT resealable. This is a large quantity and I will now being buying a container that I must transfer the powder into to protect it from moisture. All the savings from buying a larger quantity will now be spent on purchasing an air tight container.
