Great for practice
Got these for my son as he moves up from the middle to high school track and field team. Nice inexpensive way to help him hone the skill outside of practice. Seem very durable.

I coach and these a great for practice and beginners. They take a beating during practice and have held up for 2 seasons so far. No chunks or pieces falling off.

An excellent piece for an excellent price
I have been a runner for three years and am going to be throwing and running next season. I purchased this discus to use as a roughneck to practice with and develop my throw properly. The weight feels correct and it's really durable. The rubber is not perfect and mine has a small bump just off the center. This does not however affect the throw or flight path any and is hardly noticeable. You'd only see it if you were looking for it. If you are looking for something that will last and will be great for practice, this is definitely what you should be looking at.

I coach high school throws and we needed a quick replacement for a lost rubber disc to use in our practice cage. It arrived on time in good condition. It weighs ever so slightly less than 1.6 kg. The edge is .5 inches thick which is a little weird. It will work and the price is right.

Good disc for its purpose, practice. It can be used in meets, but i have found a young thrower can get dependent on its texture , and not develop the necessary release to get good spin on the metal discus, which makes it carry further. So for throwing early season, or wet conditions, practice outside or inside on a surface where marks aren't an issue, and for development of beginner throwers, it is a great disc

Great practice disc for beginners. Would not recommend using it in competition but is great to learn technique.
