Nice unit. Grinds flint corn all the way to flour in only a few passes. Cleanup is easy. It does fet warm, so follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding cool down.

I was worried that this would not be up to snuff. There are so many fancy mills and mill attachments out there for hundreds of dollars, and I was going a little nuts worrying over the what ifs. This attachment has met, and exceeded my expectations. There are one or two things worth mentioning for potential buyers: 1- as this is an attachment for the kitchen aid it is worth noting that there is a limit on how much you can mill at one time. The maximum is 10 cups in one session, then you must let your mixer rest/cool for an hour. If you're like me, and only bake a loaf of bread here, some cookies there, then this mill will do right by you. I would not recommend for commercial/professional kitchens hoping to bake all day. 2- I couldn’t find an answer to this anywhere. I have the kitchen aid classic. A much older (arguably slower) mixer, and was worried this would be to hard on it. I am pleased to let people know the 'classic' can handle the load. All in all, this mill does exactly what it should, I have no regrets, and I would highly recommend.

Easy to use, works well. I chose to put my flour through again to make the bran smaller but was fine the first time. Read instructions. After 10 cups of processing, let the motor on your mixer rest for 45 minutes. I'm happy with my purchase. This is my first mill. If I stick with it, I will consider upgrading to a stand alone.

This thing is basically a manual meat grinder rebranded for nuts, and it’s a mechanical disaster. Here’s the problem: Nuts are oily. I tried grinding just a small batch (less than 200g), and the machine immediately choked. The nut powder mixed with the natural oils to create a thick, sticky paste that completely jammed the internals. The worst part? You can’t take it apart. Because of the "all-in-one" design, there is no way to open it up and clean the gunk out. Once it’s clogged, it’s clogged forever. It’s now a permanent, greasy paperweight. This product feels like it never left the prototype stage—they clearly never tested it with actual nuts. DO NOT BUY. It’s a disposable product at a non-disposable price.

Takes a long time to grind wheat berries (45 minutes for 2 3/4 cup wheat berries with frequent stops to let machine cool as it causes the kitchen aid mixer to get quite hot). Recommend a wheat mill if you plan to grind regularly. Does a good job for a fine grind, just hard on the machine.
