Sharpty Inverted, Windproof, Reverse Umbrella for Women with UV Protection, Upside Down with C-Shaped Handle

Take it from me: I grew up in one of the rainiest places on Earth. We almost get scuba licenses with our driver's licenses, okay? The Pacific Northwest tests any umbrella to the hilt, and this lovely specimen holds up against the hardest pelt, persistent drizzle or monsoon bombardment of November with grace. It dealt with Midwest summer thunderstorms better than much bigger, fancier umbrellas and I'm still chuckling dry (mostly) on a windy, wet day in November. This storm reminded me to write my review. It's held up where other lesser umbrellas would have turned inside out or simply cowered in the closet. Not so my trusty inverted Parisian umbrella! The inverted umbrella design is long overdue for a wave of popularity, partly because functionality and form are not sacrificed. Having the inverted form allows for multiple layers, assuring you won't get wet nor will you spray everyone in a ten-foot radius by simply opening or shutting the thing. The handle is great if you need to get a firm grip or hang a small bag from it on your walk. Sometimes you just need your hands free, and the C grip is soft, supple, and durable. I drop a star from this for the inherent weakness of the metal tips on the tines. If one of those gets knocked off, it very easily disrupts the outer 'skin' of the umbrella. Tension declines, but trying to wrestle that tip back into place can be arduous and painstaking work without tearing or breaking something.

I rarely give five stars, but this is the best umbrella I have EVER had. It closes inverted, so when I get in the car it unlocks and seamlessly closes without any of the awkwardness of a typical umbrella. The second layer of material (with the print)has tiny airholes, so when it's windy, there is no struggle to keep it open. The C shaped handle is ideal. I hang bags on it to keep my hands free, it is extremely sturdy. I get compliments on this beautiful umbrella every time I use it. I probably will have many more because it is so durable, I expect it to last for YEARS without having to be replaced. Thank you for a wonderfully engineered umbrella, functional and gorgeous!!!

First, this item was purchased as a Christmas gift. I was going to leave it in the corrugated box and cover it with holiday wrapping but was prompted to open the contents, as the seller emailed me for my opinion about the product. The couple who will receive this reverse umbrella will use it for shielding against the rain, so the "Sun Protection" category was not completed. Also, the durability factor cannot be determined as of this writing as this umbrella has not yet been put to the test by the recipients over a duration of time. Be that as it may, my first impressions are: 1) it seems to be well-constructed, 2) it effortlessly locks into the open position very smoothly and quietly without the "click" one would normally hear with a conventional umbrella and 3) the "open C handle" will make it convenient for my friend's wife if she uses the umbrella and needs to hang her purse on the handle. Shipping was very expeditious as I am not in one of the lower 48 states. Based upon the online reviews, I was going to buy two when placing my Amazon order but encountered a "cap" of one per customer.

I was surprised by how big this umbrella was compared to the videos I saw online. This is large enough for nearly three people if needed! I chose the rainbow design and the design came out great! I was thinking maybe it'd be a bit blurred, but it came out nice which was a surprise to me as I cared more if the umbrella works or not. It definitely helped me out in some windy weather here in Alabama with our unpredictable rain patterns as it did not falter once! I wish I had gotten this sooner as it also has helped me not get rain water all in my car when getting in. Highly recommend for the price!

Fun umbrella. I got the black with red flower design and it’s very pretty. I like the handled cover it comes with but it is a bit tricky to get the umbrella inside the cover. Holds up well to wind which was a concern of mine when looking at the design. It’s surprisingly light weight considering the size but due to design it doesn’t fold up and so it is quite tall. It would be problematic to carry without the handled cover when closed if you are short as you would have to actively hold it up to prevent dragging on the ground. I really like that there are no exposed metal parts, the spine of the umbrella is between the two layers of material which is delightful, I tend to get my hair caught in umbrellas a lot and that will never happen with this one. Also if I do break the spine there won’t be dangling metal parts swinging in my face as would be the case with a regular umbrella. All in all I like it, good item good price.

I bought this umbrella for my mother in law. I had to check it out of course, I didn't use it outside. However I thought that the unique design was easy to use. The umbrella felt sturdy, and the material felt nice. I got the one with green leaves, and it looks just like the picture. Its so pretty! I think it will be useful in the rain. The unique handle feels like it will be easy to grip and hook onto things, either while using or when drying. Its super fun, and I'll probably buy another for myself.

I used it right away and was pleased at how sturdy it is against wind. Very high quality. I didn't think the handle would be useful until I needed to carry bags in each hand,big help. It is a perfect size. Wide enough to cover you and anything you're holding. Then to find out it has UV protection made it a million times better. I had actually been looking for a UV umbrella for my son's soccer games. 2 in 1 definitely worth the price. What I also love is that it doesn't get everything wet. It folds invertedly so when you place it in the car everything it touches doesn't get wet. It also stands up which makes it easier to store around the house when in use. I've gotten many compliments on the design. I have the red flower. Definitely worth the buy
