Relatively easy install - make sure your wall is ready!
I just invested in two beautiful big curved screens to replace my older flat ones, and wanted to wall-mount them to get some of my desk space back. I asked some tech friends and they recommended the AVLT Dual Monitor Wall Mount. The unit is substantial - feels solid and really well made right out of the box. The installation instructions were simple and easy to follow. My hubby and I mounted it on the wall above my desk and used a length of pine left over from our floor-to-ceiling bookcase project to mount it. We live in an old house with lath-and-plaster walls, so I decided not to risk just using the screws to mount it. The process was easy - find the spot where I wanted the monitors, check for a wall stud to drill into, select (and stain) the piece of wood that served as the "backer," screw it into the wall, then mount the monitor arm. I'm very happy with it - plenty of range of motion, easy to move my monitors when I want to, and they feel very secure.

Very nice!
My college age son set up his 2 monitors so his desk space would be maximised. Take your time figuring out the angles and position that you want your monitors to be adjustable within. We had to take it down and move it to get the monitors exactly where we wanted them. Very solid and smooth. Good cable management tracks. Clears the desk and swivels nicely.

Works great, but not what I was looking for
I wanted a dual mount for my monitors to free up space on my desk. This is definitely sturdy, seems well made, and works great. Installation wasn't too hard, we mounted it onto a board that is screwed into our wall stud for extra support. It may have taken 15- 20 min to get it installed and set up. I didn't realize then when I push the arms flat it would separate my monitors so much. I was looking for something that would keep my monitors toward the back of my desk/wall and aligned together. When I extend the arms out to have my monitors together, it pushes too far into my desk. If I had a deeper desk, this would be perfect. I think this would be great for someone with more desk space.

Good product
I bought these about a year and half ago and they are still holding strong. They work for exactly what I wanted them to. Unfortunately for me... I didn't measure and find the stud in my wall prior to ordering so I would love these to be placed slightly different but that's not a fault or issue with the product itself. They do leave large holes in the wall if you put it in the wrong spot and have to move it... But that's because it comes with strong screws to ensure it stays in place. I'm not defaulting or dropping any stars for it. It holds my 27 inch monitors great. Since they've held up well then I'd say that I definitely recommend this.

Desk space!!!
I use two monitors for work and the stands were taking up most of my desktop. I considered a riser shelf but wall mounting offered the option of moving the monitors to standup while I work. Packed well and clear instructions included. I was able to mount it alone but it would be much easier with a second person to help hold it while attaching it to the wall (I'm just too impatient). There are cord management covers on each arm which was the kind of organization I was wanting. Easy to reposition the monitors and they stay where I put them. I have reclaimed my desktop!!!

Easy to install, works as advertised
This wall mount was pretty easy to install. You will likely want to cut out a template for the holes using paper or cardboard, but once the holes are marked, it's simple enough to install. The monitors went on and I was able to adjust the arm tension with the provided allen wrench. Everything looks great and it cleaned up my desk significantly!

Pretty good, worth the money, not AMAZING.
I have a large, heavy old hanns-G 28 inch monitor and a heavy old samsung 24 inch and both were easy to mount. The design of the top two bolts does make it tricky to mount to a single 2x4 stud, so beware that you need to drill your pilot hole for the left one slightly up and towards the center, and the lower right one slightly left and towards center to make sure the screws firmly go INTO the stud and don't just shear off an edge. Not super hard, but just something to be mindful of. Other than that, my only complaints are that 1.) the cable routing plastic piece on the first pivot coming out of the wall doesn't have any positive fixation so it will slip out constantly. I fixed this by just doing a decorative wrap with some cloth ribbon that looks nice and holds it in place, but it shouldn't need that to begin with. And 2.) it really should have a little slot to hold the allen wrench required to adjust the gas strut that holds the monitor position. No reason that couldn't have been integrated somewhere.

Installing AVLT-Power Dual 32" Monitor Wall Mount
The AVLT-Power Dual 32" Monitor Wall Mount comes complete with all the hardware needed to mount two monitors to a stud or a Sheetrock wall. But there was Sheetrock on the wall in the center of my desk with wooden studs on either side. I didn't trust the Sheetrock to support two expensive monitors with the supplied screws and mollys. To mount the AVLT unit I bought a 2 foot long piece of red oak that was 3/4 inch thick and 8 inches wide from a Home The Depot store. After finishing the wood I mounted it to two wall studs with four three inch long #12 flat head steel wood screws so that the AVLT mount could be aligned with the center of my desk. This eliminated the problem of having to use the included hardware for mounting directly to the Sheetrock. The unit comes with two 100 by 100 VESA mounting plates to fit two monitors. They fit my two LG 27 inch monitors perfectly. Also included were two packages of VESA specific threaded bolts, but I used the ones that were already in my LG monitors. My monitors weighed about 12 pounds each and the AVLT wall mount arms supported them easily. The gas shocks had reserve power to hold them in any position. However, if the monitors had exceeded the capacity of the shocks, the arms could be dropped to their lowest position where the shocks are not needed. The VESA plates slide into the ends of the arms and are locked down with the included screws to prevent 90% of their potential to wobble. This is important because the mounts allow monitors to be rotated from landscape to portrait attitude. The lock down screws keep the monitors from slipping off the arms. The AVLT-Power Dual 32" Monitor Wall Mount is an excellent way to make more room on my desk.

Very Sturdy and Value for money.
Easy to mount and holds my 2 27" Dell monitors very nicely. One tip - try and put the monitors on the mount before you start drilling to confirm the height. Great value for money as well and very sturdy product. Thank you.

Good quality but not practical
These are great Arms. Install easy onto wall and adjusting the tension allows for a great range of positions. But they are not great for dual 27โ, the arms can not be folded back far enough. Moving the screens together means losing half of the desk space. Swapping these out for a wall bracket design so the screens sit on the wall as opposed to half way over the desk
