Alkaline buffer is a non-phosphate buffer that increases pH and alkali degrees (KH) and buffered with acidic buffer. These buffers are designed for aquatic aquariums or carbide water where phosphate buffers can cause algae and turbidity issues. Alkaline buffer increases pH and buffered between 7.2 and 8.5. Gentle and safe to improve the fresh water environment
