New Star Foodservice Wooden Pizza Peel, 14" x 12" Pizza Paddle with 8" Handle

I used this today for pizza and it came off so easy when sliding my pizza into the oven. I lightly dusted it with flower. Honestly I was so happy my pizza didn't fold or fall apart, it slid right off. Amazing and I'm so happy to make pizza now. I use the metal paddle I bought previously to remove the pizza and can use the wooden to prep while one is in the oven Works amazing and easy to clean. The length is perfect and it is durable.

Good large size to make a 16” pizza. dough slides off well. I recommend this.

really nice 4 outdoor pizza, cooking and indoor. Although it does get a little charred, it still works after about a year of use so I do recommend this.

A great peel for forming, building, and launching pizzas and Strombolis into the oven. Despite some other reviews, mine was fairly smooth (but it does have a small split that I hope that does not grow). It was very dry, so I bought a pint of mineral oil at Walmart for under $3 and applied several coats to both sides. It could probably suck up a few more. Big enough for any pizza, Stromboli, or calzone that you can make in a conventional oven. If you can swing it, you’ll probably want an aluminum peel, too, so that you can easily turn pizzas midway through, and to easily remove them.

I bought this as a present for my husband and it was a huge hit for Christmas. He makes homemade pizza's and this came in handy for sure. High quality and definitely worth the money I paid for it. It is sturdy and the long handle is great so nobody gets burned.

I've been using this pizza peel for 8 years now. I don't really have any complaints. It just does what it's supposed to do. It has a couple of light scorch marks on it but other than that it looks pretty much brand new. I will say though that it was half the price when I bought it.

This is definitely not restaurant quality. It is made with a softwood that will easily absorb water and be easily scratched or dented. There are other pizza peels on the market that are hardwood and sealed with a food-grade material. This is unfinished, and I needed to sand a few rough spots. It actually scorched the first time I launched a pizza into my Ooni oven.

I have read in various places that it can be hard to slide your pizza odd the peeler and into the over. Wooden are the best as they have natural air pockets, followed by the metal with holes and last the plain metal ones. Highly recommend this. Even though it is large, it is not too heavy.

This pizza peel is wonderful! It’s a good size, especially if you want to make pizzas that are not too large and make, perhaps, a couple with different toppings. I was afraid at first that the raw dough would stick to it, but with a generous sprinkling of semolina rimacinata (finely ground semolina) the pizza slides off like a charm. There is no need to wash it afterwards, just thoroughly brush off the semolina afterwards and you’re ready to go. I use it with my cast iron pizza pan which is heated in the oven for about half an hour. I heartily recommend it!
