Could've been cheaper. A spare Filling mechanism cannot be 15-20% of the cost of the pen.

For the price of the pen a converter should ideally be included but no frills works wonderfully and does its job.

It works really well to refill your Inc quickly without a mess. If you have a small Inc bottle which isn't completely full anymore it can be difficult to hold the converter into the Inc and turn it for the wished vakuum that sucks in the inc. but the problem is with the Inc bottle not the converter. Very happy with it.

The converter fitted the LAMY pen well and no leaks. There is a notch that fits in the barrel position and holds the converter well. Worth the money, if you are a regular user of LAMY ink pen. I use cartridges only during travel and converter while in office.

The best fountain pen I ever had. I've used my Lamy Safari pen and converter combination for almost two years now. I'm a real user. I'm a doctor who works at a paper-based hospital and every day I use this pen a lot, to scribble a ton of stuff. Probably 20+ pages worth of stuff each day. Drug prescriptions, clinical notes, orders, requisitions. It writes absolutely amazingly marvellously. My handwriting, which was good to begin with, has improved significantly since I used this pen. Hand fatigue, which was a huge problem for me, is now gone. Nurses, clerks, patients and other doctors gush over my handwriting. The Lamy black ink is rich and flows smoothly. It never clogs my pen even when I leave it running dry for days. I have dropped this pen at least 100 times, sometimes on its nib. I have refilled it at least 100 times. It still works perfectly, and seems to get better with age. Highly, highly recommended. You will not regret your purchase. Trust me, I'm a real user. Don't listen to critics on YouTube who complain about this pen's nib "inconsistency" and talk about why other pens are better... These folks don't actually need to write anything and the only thing they use their pens for is to repeatedly draw bubbles and write the names of their pens with expensive ink on expensive pieces of paper. Listen to me, a real power user. The only problem with this pen is that, the converter has a ridiculously small capacity. It would run out of ink every 3 days which is a huge hassle. So, if you don't write a lot of stuff, the Lamy Safari and converter combination is perfect for you. If you write a ton of stuff, better get something with a bigger capacity, like a Twsbi Eco, which I also bought and like. The problem with that model is the twist cap, which is a chore to use when you need to use your pen 50 times a day. As for me, as long as this kit works, I'm not buying anything else, don't need to buy anything else.

The converter works with a lot of Lamy pens and is very easy to refill ink with.

Aunque prefiero plumas con sistemas de carga fiables y de buena capacidad, particularmente de pistón, a veces adquiero o recibo como regalo algunas que utilizan cartuchos de tinta. Si utilizo alguna de estas plumas con cierta frecuencia, prefiero adquirir un convertidor para poder seguir usando las tintas que me gustan. El convertidor Z24, es especifico para algunos modelos de Lamy, como Safari o Al-Star, ya que en el cuerpo tiene unos pequeños salientes cilíndricos, diametralmente opuestos (ver imagen 1), y que encajan en unas muescas correspondientes que tienen dichos modelos (ver imagen 2) y que ayudan, de una parte a que el cartucho no gire en el cuerpo del alimentador. y de otra, que sea mas dificil que pueda salirse, al quedar ambos salientes retenidos a presión en su lugar.

Le convertisseur s'adapte très bien à mon LAMY SAFARI (qui est un très bon stylo d'ailleurs). Pas de fuite, le remplissage est aisé, le convertisseur est solide. Je recommande.
