Product Review / Message to Seller – Indus Valley Hair Color I have been a regular user of Indus Valley Hair Color, primarily because I am allergic to most other hair color products available in the market. This brand has been comparatively safer for me, which is why I have continued to purchase it despite its premium pricing. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been deeply disappointing. I purchased two boxes of this product in July and August. Each box contains two packets with two sachets each. In both boxes, the first packet was in perfect condition, but the second packet in each had visibly altered in color and consistency, indicating a clear degradation of quality. I reside in Bangalore, where the climate is cool and moderate. The products were stored safely in a closed cupboard, away from any sunlight, moisture, or heat. Hence, there is absolutely no question of mishandling or improper storage from my end. This points to a lapse in quality control during manufacturing or packaging. What concerns me further is that the expiry dates printed on the boxes are 2026 and 2027, which means the product should still be in excellent condition. A product with such a long remaining shelf life should not exhibit signs of deterioration. Considering that Indus Valley positions itself as a premium, natural, and safe brand, this experience is unacceptable. I have already reported this issue to Amazon customer care, but I wish to emphasize the seriousness of this matter. As a loyal user who depends on this product due to medical sensitivities, I expect the brand to uphold its quality standards. I request that my next order be replaced with a fresh and thoroughly inspected batch to ensure safety and authenticity. If the quality issues persist, it would be unjustifiable for me to continue investing in a product that fails to maintain its promised standards. This new hair dye is not as good as the previous one. When I mis it bubbles appear,Even after washing, I can still see white hair ,and the colour lasts only for 2 days after that my hair turns white again. It’s very expensive also.

I have been using the Indus Valley Natural Gel Hair Colour in Dark Brown and I am genuinely impressed with how well it performs without any of the harsh chemicals you find in regular hair colours. Being ammonia and PPD free was the main reason I switched to this and I have not looked back since. No strong chemical smell during application, no scalp irritation, and my hair does not feel stripped or dry afterwards — which used to be a regular complaint with other brands. The gel formula is easy to apply and does not drip or run, making the whole process much more manageable at home. The grey coverage is thorough and even, which for me was a non-negotiable. The Dark Brown shade is rich and natural looking — not too flat or artificial. Colour also lasts well between applications and the conditioning effect is visible from the first use itself. For anyone with thin or delicate hair who has been hesitant about colouring due to damage concerns, this is genuinely a safer and effective alternative. My hair feels healthier and looks great. I got the #3.0 (Dark Brown) and after using it following is the experience: 1. Actual color is jet black not Dark brown 2. Sellers claim of organically natural is totally false, One packet includes hena and the Tube consist of chemical. you feel the irritation while applying it. Actual ingredients are not displayed on tube.

I bought this product for my mother, she has grey roots. And I always wanted her to use any herbal hair dyer. Thankful to Indus Valley, the product is full sized and big quantity. It can be used 4 times if you have hair till your shoulders. Within 30 minutes, you get your desired color. It has no ammonia and no other chemical, they have only used herbal ingredients specially henna and orange. They have many color variety, do try if you are looking for some chemical free products.

Terrible product. Doesn’t cover grey hair, even when left on for an hour. Comes in a untearable pack (you’ll need scissors), which is wrapped in a second untearable pack which is wrapped in a third untearable pack. Preparation requires that you pour a cream which comes in a tube (impossible to see how much is left and impossible to get it all out of the measuring cup) that has to be combined with a powder (which is very volatile and which you probably inhale inadvertently while preparing the mix). Very different from other hair dye products.

Not organic at all. I have a severe reaction with this.
