Plastic, but sink in freshwater aquariums. Staying clear in color for now.
Just got them. 5 stars for now bc they don't float in my aquarium lol (if they degrade quickly - it's not a saltwater aquarium - I will update) They floated to the top of the water at first, but once I pushed them back down into the water, for whatever reason, they sank and stayed sunk. They move around easily, so I pushed them into the pebbles a bit, and they gave the look I was going for.

Exactly as pictured but even more pretty in person. 10/10 recommend and I will definitely be purchasing several more in a variety of colors for my "Whiskey Lights" that I create and personalize each differently and the diamond gems are always my biggest sellers!
