Oh My This is GOOD Vinegar. I didn't know what to expect and what I received I could never have imagined. When you taste it for the first time, you know it's vinegar BUT.... The flavor is hard to describe. I will say it's sweet, as vinegars go, with a taste that is reminiscent of chocolate, good chocolate, not cheap chocolate. I use it foe hot and sour soup. Great flavor.....more malty tasting with less "sour".

I was trying to recreate xi’an famous foods cucumber salad and this was the missing piece to the recipe. So if you are pickling or making Asian vinegar based salads and it seems like the flavor is not quite right, this might be the key.

Wow- this is such a delicious black vinegar- and the box it comes in is so nice! On sale right now- so worth it!!

Even though I find it quite a bit pricey, it's not bad and has a good flavor. It pairs pretty well with dumplings, so I'm happy at least about that.
