Has great length between the solar panel and the first light, so plenty of slack. This does not come with a remote, but it does turn on automatically at night and off when the sun rises. The blue color is gorgeous! It lasts all night from late dusk until dawn. And on an overcast day I dont have to worry about them turning on too early. Wished I bought more. The only con is that the packaging says up to two or three lights can be attached together. I hooked the two together with one solar panel and they didn't work. So the solar panel can only support one set. It was still worth the price I paid. Will buy again if I get a chance.

Limited life lights.
The lights don't last as long as expected. They could have used a slightly bigger battery on solar panel to allow the lights to last a few more hours at night.
