Powerful but poorly built.
the translucent container housing the filter is poorly glued to its base. it came off within merely 3 weeks of usage (maximum used for 4-5 times). I didn't even try to unlock it or something ... it was just sitting there on it's side, and the thing came off! i thought i forgot to lock it or something, but to my surprise... it came off from the glued part. now the whole thing is unusable, and i can't even return it.

Way better than expected!! Reviews aren’t exaggerating!
This is an awesome little unit! Compact, efficient, with surprisingly powerful suction. I have a dog - so trust me I’m usually disappointed in cordless car vacs. This has well made attachments that do a good job of picking up dog hair and the dust and light debris that open doors invites in. Easy to empty. Quick to charge. Neat to store, and good thin wand that actually fits between the seats!

HOTO Handheld Car Vacuum Cleaner — Compact, Strong Suction, Perfect for Dad & Work Trucks
This little HOTO vacuum is way more useful than it looks and has basically earned a permanent spot in my Escalade. The size is perfect to keep in the center console or door pocket, but the suction is strong enough to actually pull up crumbs, sand, and dirt from the kids’ shoes after school runs and weekend trips. I’ve used it on the floor mats, between the seats where fries like to hide, and around the center console, and it grabs the mess without spitting dust back out. The attachments help a lot: the narrow nozzle gets into tight spots by the seat rails and between console panels, and the brush head is good for dust on vents and dashboards. Battery life is solid for quick cleanups; I can do a full interior touch‑up on my truck, plus the front seats of another car, before it needs a recharge. Charging by USB‑C makes it easy to top off inside the house or from a power bank in the truck, so it’s ready whenever I notice the mess and have a few minutes to deal with it.

Great vacuum
Very well built, nice weight which gives me confidence it’ll last. So far the charge is holding out, contrary to other reviews of it only last 4 minutes. Good variety of accessories. Turbo button is a bit sensitive, but I’ll get used to it. Quite happy with the vacuum.

Great vacuums for cars with kids.
Great vacuum. Wish it was battery powered. The battery only lasted for about 30 minutes, but that was OK I guess. this was perfect for cleaning up my kids spills. I loved all of the extenders. I love how you can use it as like a vacuum or you can use it as a blower perfect for the fall, you can blow off the leaves. great storage. easy to use. The section power was great and it was great value for the money it was worth.

Imperfect design but still probably the best handheld vac out there.
Let me start off by saying Hoto makes good stuff. Their designs are creative and high quality. Construction and build quality is top notch. All their products are very useful and should top your list no matter which Hoto product you are looking at (and yes, I get them all). THAT SAID: I don't love any of them. I initially gave Hoto products 5 star reviews with caveats (Great Design! I just wish it was better design...). Then when they kept making similar mistakes, I started giving 4 stars (Really creative designs -- but how do they miss So Many Obvious issues?). Now I'm down to 3 stars. These are really good products -- no question about it. But they Hoto always have multiple, serious, design flaws that make you wonder if anyone there actually uses their products? All THAT said, here's the Vacuum review: Its high quality, well built, powerful, and works. It is the best out of the other 6 Tiny Vacs (the class name I made up for these desk drawer/glove compartment vacs) and beats most by quite a margin. If that's all you want in a tiny vac, stop reading here and just buy it. (seriously) One thing I must commend Hoto on: They stuck with their standard round body design, but instead of a clean tube that immediately rolls off any surface you lay it on (I'm looking at you, Hoto driver!) they added a couple raised features that immediately stop any roll. Great job! So why not 5 stars? 1 - The grey on grey button scheme is dumb. I get 'aesthetically pleasing & minimalist' design. But I want markings I can see at a glance, not have to squint to decipher -- particularly in low light (car floor, car boot, garage -- you know, all the places you're most likely to use a vac this size). Speaking of low light... 2 - There's no light. See previous point -- this type vac screams for illumination from the business end. 80% of the time I'm using this vac, I find myself with the vac in one hand and a flashlight in the other. It gets more annoying, and more obvious, every time I use it. Doesn't anyone at Hoto use these products in the real world? 3 - Back to the buttons: Move the Boost button away from the Power button. Almost half the time when I go to turn it off, or turn it on in dim lighting, I end up boosting. 4 - Use a real power switch. Holding Power for 2-3 seconds every time you want to turn it on and off is quite trying. Particularly if you're working in and around anything tricky where you want to do this multiple times in a row. (While we're at it, why does Boost light up and Power doesn't? Which is more important to me vs which is more important to your marketing department?) 5 - The Wedge nozzle doesn't have any relief cuts (Hint: You WILL want to fix this -- Dremel works great.) With no relief cuts, the nozzle is harder to control and tends to want to suction onto nearby surfaces. (I should mention here this is partly an issue because of the power this vac delivers -- I did say it is quite good.) Vac nozzles work better with relief cuts. Because you need suction relief, you'll want to extend the Brush attachment but unfortunately... 6 - The brushes on the Brush attachment are too thick. Stuff gets caught in them instead of going through them. Even with the relatively high suction, you'll still end up hand cleaning the bristles quite often. Also, the detents that try to snap the brush attachment into position are too light. I end up popping it off the end half the time I extend it. 7 - After it finishes charging, all lights go off. If you know this and use it all the time, no biggie. If you don't use it all the time, your first thought taking if off the charger is that its dead. That combined with having to hold the dang power button 3 seconds to start the thing has had every single member of my family bring me the DEAD HOTO Vac at least once for me to have to explain what High Design is and why, even though it is unintuitive and annoying, its so much better for us all. Just ask Apple. That's it. If none of those bother you, buy this vac. If most all those bother you, I'd still probably buy this vac. It is good. And even though a couple competitors have more straightforward and usable designs, Hoto built one that works. So my advice: buy it and deal with it.
