Labgear Hybrid LNB 6 Output Hybrid LNB | 2 x Wideband + 4 x Quad | For use with Sky Q, Sky+, SkyHD or Freesat

I purchased another 6 port lmb before this one. And did not work at all. Looking on there site looks like they buy bulk palates of goods. So could have been faulty goods they purchased. So i bought this one from this company. And took me 2 mins to fit. Checked my signal and it increased it from 70 quality signal.. to strength.90. So now a very good 90 quality signal..to strength..90 .so very good siganals now. And retuned my lg tv on arial and sat and now get 1999 chanels free. So yes go on buy one mine was good quality and perfectly working and increased my sky dish signal.

Having recently left SkyQ due to the high cost, I realised our TV had a built in Freesat tuner which was compatible with the Quad ports instead of the Wideband ports on a SkyQ LNB. I managed to swap the old SkyQ LNB for this one and managed to get a signal relatively easily. I would say that the documentation/ qr code link you get with the product isn't very helpful as it doesn't even identify which ports are which. Luckily Gemini was quite helpful when I asked it for settings/ configuration for my specific TV

Brilliant, as it enables you to have good Sky Q feeds, plus freesat traditional feeds so you only need one dish !

This just worked flawlessly out of the box. Good strong high quality signal from all outputs; no stuttering or picture breakup at all. There’s a slight design flaw with the slide-down water shield for the cables; water can run down the body and get inside the sliding shield. I just ran a little SikaFlex EBT+ sealant around the sliding part’s top edge so all should be OK now.

I read several reviews describing the install process but was slightly unclear on how to unclip my exisiting sky Q LNB for this hybrid LNB. In my case I have a mark 3 sky dish and I have just cancelled my sky subscription which I will replace with a freesat box. I chose the hybrid so I can use sky until it runs out but also to future proof it in case I go back to sky. When deciding if you are going to do this yourself, or not, consider how easy it is to access your dish. Ours is low and could be reached with a strech on a short ladder. I looked at the signal strength and through the sky settings menus (signal 90/ quality90) before starting. I powered down the sky box, slid up the weather protector on the LNB and unscrewed the co-ax cables. I took several photos of the LNB, paying attention to the angle it was positioned with relation to the dish and arm. I had to unclip the tiny retainers at the bottom of the LNB in order to slide it off (with some force) and replaced with this new hybrid LNB replicating the angle of the old one. I reconnected to the wideband ports, slid the weather cover down and went up to power the box up. Signal strength remained good at 90/90 and the sky q box worked as normal. I tightened the screw on the LNB bracket and then switched over to freesat, changing the ports to two on the row of 4 (quad). Freesat picked up 122 channels and good quality signal. Simple and straightfoward. I was very worried I would move the dish and lose signal. Whilst the dish did wobble a bit as I took the lnb off it was well fixed and didn't displace with the signal unchanged.

This replaced my existing LNB to allow the use of SKY Q and Freesat. It works well.

Purchased to use Freesat in (Bedrooms) along with Sky Q (in living room) easy to install remove old Sky Q LNB and switch to this one everything was working fine until about 2 months later It developed a fault causing Sky Q picture to be scrambled (mainly when using Freesat in another room) was retuned for a refund but buyer beware it only comes with 30 days warranty ! Luckily I was given a refund but I had to fight the customer service rep at Amazon to do this so if your buying one keep this in mind

L'articolo acquistato mi è arrivato tramite una terza persona in Italia ed inviatomi nel mio paese di residenza (Portogallo ). Purtroppo collegandolo al router Sky abbiamo visto che non funziona . Non mi è conveniente rispedirlo per tramite la terza persona ad Amazon. Non so quindinse sono stato sfortunato nell'acquisto o se il prodotto non è valido.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per ricevere SKY Q in Italia ma questo è forse abilitato per lavorare in UK. Pertanto non posso utilizzarlo. Suggerisco di verificare meglio la compatibilità dei prodotti che vendete.

Pultroppo non conpatibile con la mia parabola, sicuramente buon prodotto ma ho dovuto ristituirlo.
