Good Ukulele for Beginners & Professionals
This is my first ukulele. I bought it for Rs. 3299/- (Paid Rs. 3303). May be could have got it at a cheaper rate had I waited a little longer but I didn't want to wait :)I bought it after lot of research optimizing quality and budget.Pros:1. The build, body, sound (Looks, Feel, Finish, Sound, Bag) - all are nice.2. Mahogany body3. Perfect size4. Has an equaliserLittle Cons:1. Battery isn't included.2. The tuner provided hasn't been very useful. Reduced a star for it.3. Bag isn't padded. But a lovely, lively instrument. Can go for it! ๐

Quality instrument. Stays in tune.
Kadence is a good new brand to look out for. Sounds great and a solid Ukulele. Impressed. This is the first kadence brand I bought and inspired me to buy my next guitar also as a kadence brand. happy with both the instruments now. Quality instruments.

Overall it's a good value for money
I would say it is one of the best picks for a beginner who wants to get into music. But even though the strings can be fine tuned, few frets are slightly misplaced which makes them sound out of tune. But for a beginner it's a good enough point to start with. This came with a beginner online course which is good enough to get you up and running. It has a inbuilt equaliser along with outlet for attaching it to audio cable. But we can't connect it with a speaker with 3.5 mm Jack even using an adaptor. The wood quality is nice and light and the sound it sweet. But the fret board looks dry and patchy as if it is not oiled or conditioned properly.Overall it's a good buy for a beginner at this price.

Surprisingly good beginner Ukulele
I was slightly apprehensive about buying this instrument online, but I couldn't find an inexpensive concert-sized Uke anywhere in my city. As it turns out, this Uke is a good beginner instrument, so all is well. I used this 12-point checklist to inspect the Uke, and it ticks all the boxes:- No rattles or squeaks when you shake it- No splits or cracks in the wood- Neck firmly joined to body with no gaps in between, and neck doesn't shift around- Top, sides, and back joined without any gaps- Top of body completely flat, no bulges or depressions, especially near the bridge- Back of body evenly curved, no bulged spots or depressions- Sight down neck from back of body shows neck is straight or SLIGHTLY bent up, but not bent down, and not twisted either way- Interior of sound hole is neat and well finished- Braces firm and not shifting around- All strings at same height above fretboard (not more than 3mm above crown of 12th fret)- Fret edges nice and smooth along the neck, nothing sharp or sticking out- Gear tuners turn smoothly without grindingAlso, the instrument is pretty loud, it doesn't sound like a toy. The clip-on tuner that came with the Uke works well. New Ukes typically need frequent tuning until they get seasoned, but surprisingly, this Uke stayed in tune for 2-3 days before requiring a retune. The only criticism I have is that on playing some chords, there's a slight buzzing noise from the strings towards the end of the sustain. It might be easily solved by upgrading to Aquila strings, but even otherwise, at this price, it's honestly nothing to complain about. Also, the strings need to be pressed down with more force than you might need with a very high end Uke, but it's probably better to learn with this and upgrade later, than the other way around. I haven't yet plugged in the Uke to an amp, so I don't know how well the built-in pickup works.TL;DR - It's a good beginner Uke. Great value for money. Just make sure you inspect your piece against all the points mentioned in the checklist above.

Nice, Fun, Beginner to Intermediate Model... Plus Electric!!
I dabble a bit with the uke and lucked into a fantastic expensive VOX electric model. My 15 year grandaughter has been interested in learning so I started looking for options. I found this one. The ratings were good for the price range so I bought it for her. birthday.Once she opened it, the first thing we did was tune it. It tuned with very little fiddling. My grandaughter says it seems to keep tune well and she usually only tunes it at the start of a session. It was relatively comfortable to play and my grandaughter was immediatel able to play chords. The strings are inexpensive but not terrible for a beginner, besides better strings like from Aquila or D'Adarrio are not very expensive and are easy to put on. The sound was decent, in fact pretty good for a beginner to intermediate instrument. We did not get to try it with an amp when I was with her, but she did play it on an amp at a friends house and called me just thrilled with how it sounded.Bottom line... A good modestly priced uke that performs well and is suitable for a beginner or intermediate player... plus it has the fun option of connecting to an amp

Decent ukulele for its price. Awesome ukulele with better strings
I own a Kala Makala concert size ukulele which cost me $60. This one cost me $37 after a $10 discount. Kadence feels very light to hold in comparison to Makala. In terms of sound, out of the box Makala sounds a bit brighter. But for a beginner the difference is not that much. I am writing this review the very first day I got the Kadence. The new ukulele kept going out of tune repeatedly, but that is expected from a new ukulele. However, in comparison my Makala has rarely gone out of tune since day 1 (and I have the Makala for more than 2 years). The frets have a bit sharp edges. But then again had this been my first ukulele, I may have not noticed this. All in all, this ukulele is quite comparable to a much higher quality Kala Makala. If you are a beginner and want to save money, this ukuele is definitely recommended. Now for the fun part, I changed the stock strings with Aquila Sugar Low G strings (costing $11). As a first timer, it took me quite a while to change the strings and tune the ukulele (about 2 hours). But after switching to higher quality strings with a low G tuning, now my Kadence sounds much better than my Makala with a deeper and more guitar like sound (low G tuning strings do make your ukulele sound more like a guitar in general I believe). So, for an intermediate player I suggest to buy new Aquila strings (regular high G tuning or guitaresque low G tuning - your choice), and then this ukulele will be much more fun to play than some of the higher quality ones. On top of all this you also get to connect this uke to an amplifier (which I have yet to test myself). At this price range and with changed strings, I am very happy with buying this ukulele.
