I believe these are a wise purchase. People once drank out of copper and I am glad to see it is coming back. They tarnish easily but who cares. They serve the purpose. They are the perfect size for drinking water. They don't weigh much at all, so they are easy to hold.they have a plain design, but I wasn't after pretty. They were not costly compared to the mugs. The get really cold when using ice. Overall they will serve the purpose and I am pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful. But I see Blue copper sulfate patches at the Bottom inside, so I don't know if I still can DRINK water in it.

At first, the tumblers looked attractive with their bright copper shine and felt light and easy to hold. However, after about two weeks of gentle daily use, I noticed serious oxidation on the inside surface. Dark spots appeared quickly and spread, making the tumblers look like they were damaged or even a little broke, which was very disappointing. Despite careful cleaning as instructed, the oxidation did not improve, and it felt unsafe to continue drinking from them due to the tarnish.

Gave it a moderate rating, because little did I know that folks with kidney failure should never drink from copper. I almost had to go to the hospital. It can in fact be fatal for kidney failure patients.

They are small, which we expected. And yet we bought them to drink copper infused water for health reasons, so one cup daily is sufficient from what we've read. In other words, we didn't need for this to be a big gulp 20-32 oz tumbler we ordinarily use with water, juice or soda. The cups are very pretty, shiny, seem well made and don't leak. They are good value for the price. They haven't developed patina yet (i.e. discoloration), although we expect this with time for true copper. We are happy with this purchase.
