The diameter of each plate is around 19.2 cms. If the diameter (of the opening of the cooker) is more than 20.5 cms then the plate should fit in comfortably.

Whether it Can be in used in multi purpose kettle ?

This is a normal big plate with small idli space. If the kettle is as big as the idli pot u can use it.
