I have a small crack in polycarbonate sheet will this be ok to use.

It will depend on the position of the crack and the use of the polycarbonate sheet. Generally the Dowsil with seal a small crack if the poly is not flexed constantly. It will also depend on the degradation of the plastic. BUT it is one of the better sealants to use for small or large gap filling.

Colour depends on what works best, but we do sell more clear if that helps. Take out old seal first.

what is the work time and skin time of Dowsil 799 clear sealant

Both will depend on the weather being used in and whether it is in direct sunlight. Generally work time should be limited to under 3 minutes with skin time beginning at around 8 mins

Can I use this to seal my glass conservatory roof externally, and what extremes of temperature can it withstand?

Hi there - this is the answer from the technical team:- Generally speaking, yes, it can be used in this application. DC 799 is temperature resistant up to 120°C and so I would not expect it to fail, however, bear in mind that the sealant joint will need to be large enough to accommodate movement, including thermal movement.
