Chew Stixx when used properly provide a safe alternative for people who chew on shirts, pencils, fingers, ETC. Chew Stixx combines multiple food simulating textures into one cost effective device Due to the alternating textures of this product, it is an excellent chewable hand fidget for users craving sensory input, and the input received from destructive oral motor grinding. The textures of this product were designed by therapists to simulate the ever changing textures of food, therefore assisting with users who have sensory issues when certain textures are placed in their mouth. Chew Stixx is an oral motor device and not a toy. Use of this product should be supervised by an adult or therapist at all times. Product is extremely durable but should be replaced at first sign of wear. BP, latex and Phthalate free material, coloring, and flavor. Made in USA. Dishwasher safe. Review: sweet dental relief - The story goes that my wisdom teeth having been coming in for a few years and I cannot afford getting them pulled. They hurt and are compressing and/or impacting my other teeth. My gums crave massage and my teeth need a really good chew (and I find that I subconsciously avoid chewing on my back teeth because they do hurt, which does not help the situation.) I had been chewing on a solid plastic toothbrush handle to help relieve the pressure, but there was no give to the material and I was concerned about ingesting the resulting flakes of plastic. Chewing gum gave no substantive relief. The line about "aggressive biting habits" on the desertcart product tab caught my eye, and the reviews looked favorable, so I decided to order the Chewy Stixx Oral Tubes Tough Bar. I am pleased with this product. It is soft enough that I can bite slowly to a full pressure without triggering my back teeth, and it is tough and thick so that there is resistance throughout a decent range of motion. This provides a very satisfying, deep, hard bite that helps relieve the tension in my teeth and jaw muscles, in a way that I cannot do with the plastic handle I was using before. I now regularly use it as a stress relief. It is also convenient and comfortable to use as a prop for massaging my gums (People do not look kindly upon people putting their fingers down their mouth in public.) Mine came in an attractive blue color. I was slightly surprised at the size and thickness of the product, which measures 4.5" by 7/8" by a chewing-side thickness of 1/2". It has indented only faintly from incisor and canine teeth bites, but otherwise seems very durable. It is probably no replacement for oral surgery in the long run, but it's helping me manage in the meantime. Review: Thick as a brick - I got this for my autistic son who has mouthing behaviors. He did chew through several such chew tubes and that what made me look for some aggressive types. This is really tough and he took a while to prime. I am glad that he was not able to break through this one. I would have loved for the circumference to be a bit smaller as it fills up his mouth. He accepts it when handed but does not keep it longer. I would sure recommend this for someone looking forward to the tougher ones for durability. Alternatively if you have sore teeth the stubbed end is a soother. Just days ago I saw this in our dentist office and my son accepted it happily during observation as we had the same one home for months! Yay, that just says more about it.

Long lasting
Very durable product, fits comfortably in your mouth, great if you are a rough chewer. I will say that if you are a rough chewer and like to chew for extended periods of time the material can start to bother your mouth, but for short periods at a time itโs great.

Very sturdy
My 9-year-old with autism can bite through anything. Not these. He loves them and theyโre the perfect size.

works ok, probably for bigger kids
I got this for my 4 yr old son with autism. He tends to chew on everything... all day long: his sleeves, shirt collars, finger/nails to the blood, etc. I gave him one of my 2 year old's chew toys from when he was a baby, and my son went to town on it. We got this one and it works pretty well. It's very tough, yet cushy enough for chewing. It's just a little too thick for his little mouth. He may want to use it more as he gets older. We ended up getting the "chewy tubes super chew knobby" and it works better for him. Plus, we are able to tie a shoe string through the handle and he can wear it all day. So far, it's been 2 months and its still in good shape.

Great for the super chewer
These are super tough and durable chew sticks. They stand up to the most ardent chewer. One of my kiddos didn't like it because he likes softer more pliable things to chew (think plastic water bottle caps, the rings from the milk jug, etc) so I got him a different kind chew stick. However, my other kiddo loves this and we haven't had any product breakdown yet. Bright red color, easy to hold, all of it is chewable, and it fits in a pocket. It's a little pricey but well worth it because it doesn't fall apart and can handle my tough chewer.

My second one
I bought this as an extra to keep at work as I kept losing my first one. I like that it's easy to slip into your pocket and doubles as a silent fidget. Both have held up very well. Got my first a year ago. This one, I bought 4 months ago. I feel that there is a breaking in period, but they have both held up to my chewing.

Dog toy or baby tether??
I keep mistaking this for one of our dog toys! It would probably make an excellent dog toy actually. Itโs a bit big and seems uncomfortable for my son (16months) to use as intended. I was hoping it would help it this molars coming in but itโs almost too big for him to chew on in the side of his mouth. Itโs great for maybe the front teeth
