SIGG Hot and Cold, Vacuum-Insulated Thermo-Bottle, Stainless Steel, BPA Free, 0.75L, 1L

This flask is amazing. I've hiked and camped for many years and this is the best flask I've owned. Build quality is fantastic. Light and slimline. I only need to pre warm it for a few mins and then it keeps water extremely hot for about 18 hours. I've tried cold water and the results were good as well.

I'm generally very pleased with this flask: - keeps stuff warm all day - has larger than normal capacity - feels well made - looks much cooler than most flasks - has a really large cup - the pouring mechanism is simple and works well

This is the first flask I have ever had that does what it’s supposed to do. It really does keep things hot for quite long periods. However it does have a few downsides. The first is the white finish. It marks very easily and stays marked. After the first time I used it it had been in my rucksack for less than 3 hours and came out covered in little black marks where it had rubbed on something. Spoilt the look of it from day one. The second thing is you can’t pour from it without it dribbling down the side. Whether using the near useless partial opening or taking the whole top off it’s a pour design! It’s also quite tall and a bit ungainly stability wise and because the cup is on the bottom if you replace the cup after you’ve used it then whatever was on the bottom of your flask is now in your cup and visa versa. Very messy. I can actually forgive all these faults because it does its core job, but just imagine how great a product it could be if the designers had taken the trouble to actually use the thing and find out and fix these annoying quirks.

No issues with seepage or contents going cold even after opening. It is worth paying the extra for this tough flask as the build quality is superior to many others out there. Rugged and strong this is a very good product.

great at keeping drinks hot for ages

Yes we love Sifgg bottles! Years ago we bought a 'Steelworks - Sigg' flask and it has been the best flask we ever had. I bought this for my son and he loves it. The cup is very big by other flask standards and I would consider buying a 1,0 litre one if my original Sigg flask dies a death.

I am a big fan of Sigg, having used the traditional bottles for many years and on ever replaced them when lost. But unfortunately the Thermo does not work, my coffee was cold in less than 8 hours. When the bottle is filled you can feel the outside is hot, thus the heat is escaping! There are far better performing Thermos bottles that are a fraction of the cost.

Good flask but I bought this from amazon warehouse, was supposed to be good as new but the cap was completely broken and party missing, finding a new cap proved to be an issue as Sigg direct was out of stock. It’s also a bit of a challenge to clean the inside because it’s so long

Before ordering this product, I had done some research trying to find a modern thermos with the performance that we experienced with an older Sigg product which we had borrowed from a family friend. What I found while doing my research was that the Sigg Hot and Cold One 1L had one of the best ratings for its ability to keep liquid warm over a 24 hour period, so that's what I was looking to purchase. Since this product was listed as "Classic White" and I couldn't find anything identifying exactly what Sigg model it was, I had my doubts. That said, I was very pleased once I received the thermos and found that it was in fact the model that I was looking for (Hot and Cold One 1L). Performance: This product does exactly what it states. It keeps liquids hot for 24 hours. Of course, the liquid will lose some heat during that period but it will still be warm. Boiling hot water will remain scalding hot (~90 - 80° C for about 8 hours) and will still be around 60° C after a 24 hour period. Design: The Sigg Hot and Cold One is a rather simple design which I find both sleek and elegant. The design of the screw cap makes it easy to grip so you can tighten it snuggly and also offers a convenient location to hook onto a backpack or belt. It's also designed so you don't need to fully remove the cap for pouring. The cannister itself, feels very robust and durable without being overly heavy. What you see on the bottom of the cannister in the photo is actually a large cup/bowl. It's not necessary to keep the cup/bowl on the bottom but the anti-slip rubber on the bottom is a nice safety feature if you set it on a slippery surface.

I used to carry a paper cup around the office with my old water bottle, so I can pour water into the paper cup when I want to drink. I don't like putting my mouth on the water bottle to limit the germs that can accumulate around the mouth of my water bottle. Doing so, I can comfortable clean my water bottle every week instead of every day. I wanted to find a solution that would eliminate the need for a paper cup, and lo and behold, SIGG has one that is perfect for me. This is perfect since the cup sits securely at the bottom of the water bottle for whenever I want to drink. And you don't have to worry about it flying off when you swing you water to and fro as you walk. The bottle carries 0.75L and is insulated. I could have done without the insulation (since I only use it for water) but have a larger capacity so that I don't have to keep returning to the kitchen. But if you need something to can keep liquids warm, this should work well. So now, I can reduce waste even more by not having to wash my bottle daily AND not have to waste paper cups. The only concern I have now is where I place the water bottle when I'm using the cup to drink out of - the bottom of the water canister will eventually go INSIDE the cup, so be careful of how clean your tables are.

Ho acquistato questo thermos per escursioni invernali, cioè per mantenere in caldo un buon the e devo dire che fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. Per testarlo l'ho riempito con acqua bollente la sera e l'ho lasciato tutta la notte all'aperto (abito in montagna e la sera la temperatura era vicina allo zero). Dopo circa 9/10 ore l'acqua era ancora molto molto calda. Da considerare che le dimensioni sono decisamente più importanti di una borraccia di pari capacità - ovviamente - , però ieri l'ho portato con me in uno zaino da 10 litri e avevo ancora spazio per panini e un giacca di piccole dimensioni. Ottima anche la tazza. Perfetto quinidi per gite inverali in due persone. P.S. Nel modello da 0,75 lt. non è presente il filtro per il the.

Positiv: - 18/8 Edelstahl:lebensmittelecht, --> keine Übergänge von giftigen Stoffen in das Getränk. Es war sehr schwierig hier ein gutes Produkt zu finden. Bei so gut wie allen anderen Herstellern (auch bekannte Marken) ist der Genuss des warmen Getränkes aufgrund der ins Getränk übergehenden Stoffe für mich nicht akzeptabel. Wer mag, kann sich gerne einige Tests im Internet anschauen. - Tasse oben und unten aufsteckbar (lässt sich am Henkel besser tragen, wenn der Deckel unten angesteckt wird) - Thermoskanne hält sehr lange warm ( Ich würde bei vorherigen Einfüllen von heißem Wasser auf 24h schätzen. Das Wasser/Getränk ist dann noch so warm, dass man es vor dem Trinken kurz abkühlen lassen muss) - Preis/Leistung: die Thermoskanne hat meiner Meinung nach ein super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Nach etwa 8 Monaten Benutzung bin ich nach wie vor mit der Kanne sehr zufrieden Negativ: Habe ich für mich noch nichts gefunden. Auch Freunde sind begeistert. Habe die Thermoskanne zum Verschenken auch in anderen Größen gekauft.

Comme tous les produits SIGG, le design et la qualité sont là. Pas encore utilisée, je ne peux parler là de son efficacité. Une remarque le bol positionné à la base est gigantesque.
