Chaco mens Mega Z Classic | Casual Sandals

Chacos are really well-constructed and excellent craftsmanship. I had first ordered the Chaco ladies sandals, but had a fit issue with those. Then bought these gents sandals (same type z1 classic with mega straps) in one size smaller than the ladies sandals. Pros : These fit great for my wide feet. The straps can be tightened for a secure fit. The traction and arch support seem very good so far. My feet are high arched. Since they are heavy, it helps keep the feet grounded and stable. These sandals seem to be indestructible, lol. Cons : I can see these take a long break in time. The PU footbed can warm up significantly on hot days. The weight of the sandals is on the higher side. The color is an olive green and not a pine green :( these don’t look as nice.

I have been wearing Chaco sandals for the last 25 years. They are the only sandal I can wear without a problem. The arch support is amazing. I own at least 20 of these and I also use them around the house. These mega z version are really nice. I wish they would bring back the Tegu style.

I have never received any compliments in the sandals I wear but I do get lots of them when I wear this. It’s taking me a while to adjust them and takes a lot of trial and error. The foot bed felt rough at first but breaking them in took little time. I plan on buying them again.

I really want to like this more than I do, but it's nearly as much effort to put this on as shoes, and the seam right along the side of my big toe is abrasive. It's definitely more secure than traditional flip-flops, but with that security does come the need to fiddle with straps and pull the back up over your ankle. I'll keep wearing them and see if I feel differently, but I wanted something I can just step into and walk out the door - this definitely isn't that. But at least I don't have to bother digging around for socks.

My son loves these sandals. I did not realize how customizable they are! Magic for his narrow hard to fit feet! Thank you for this great design!!!

As always, Chacos are extremely comfortable to wear. I’ve always had black pairs of sandals but decided on this brown pattern and I enjoy them.

This is my second pair of Tevas. First pair had the thinner, normal straps. I find the wider ones to be far more comfortable so far. I felt the thinner straps on my old pair sort of dig in a bit. Overall, these are great sandals.
