HOUSBAY Wooden Sound Machine Alarm Clock for Bedrooms,White Noise for Sleep

We wanted a simple alarm clock so that we could get the phones out of the bedroom. (Side note- getting the phones out of the bedroom has been nothing short of life-changing! DO IT!) We liked that you could adjust the brightness on these; they haven't been disruptive at all. My daughters like the soft glow of the light on the bottom and appreciate that they can change the colors. The "sound machine" feature is also nice; both daughters like to sleep with the "thunder" and find it very soothing. It has a fun vintage style and is compact, which is great on smaller nightstands. Great price, easy to read, highly recommended!

I have been searching for something like this for MONTHS. A small clock that allows me to dim the light, has a nice alarm that doesn't give me a heart attack to wake me up, nice aesthetic that goes with my room, and -- the hard part -- one that plays sounds for me to fall asleep to. Other alarms that tick these boxes cost $130+ (which I did NOT want to spend). Enter this baby. Sleek, small size that fits perfectly on my bedside table. Different colors (I didn't want a black or white box). Sure, it's faux wood, but it fits much better with the rest of the stuff in my room and gives a relaxing vibe. It has 10 different alarms you can choose from (and you can chance the volume for them). I have the morning birds (#1) selected for my alarm, but there are other options. It gradually wakes you up over 2 minutes as the alarm gets a bit louder. The snooze button snoozes the alarm for 9 min. Has a built-in nightlight for if you wake up in the middle of the night for the bathroom! The display light can be dimmed or made brighter. I keep mine on the dimmer side so it doesn't blind me if I wake up at 3 am. There's approximately 25(!) different sounds you can play to help you fall asleep, and you can set the timer for the noise (30 min, 60 min, 120 min, or 180 min), which I really enjoy! The only thing I wish it had was include the sounds in the little pamphlet like they do for the alarms. Unfortunately, you need to manually go through them to hear them all. It's super simple to set up and use! Managed to set it up in about 10 min after getting home at 11 pm, so it was ready for the next day. Overall, SUPER happy with my purchase. I'm glad I didn't spend the $130+ on the other clocks I found and waited for this one. Highly recommend if someone is looking for a simple clock with a nice amount of features!

I don’t like alarms that wake me up with blaring noise, this has water sounds and bird sounds. It’s lovely. It’s dimmable. Small in size. I really like it!

UPDATE: If the time is still displayed but the alarm (all audio) stops working, MAKE SURE IT'S PLUGGED IN ALL THE WAY! I am now enjoying my alarm clock again. I bought this so I wouldn't need to use my phone alarm/have phone by my bed. I also wanted the time displayed in the bedroom. Pros: Nice look. Small enough for a small nightstand. Quickly and easily dim or brighten the readout using a dial on back of clock. Cons: The alarm only worked for 13 months and then just stopped. (See update.) There are 9 buttons on the top (confusing). It's plastic (not wood) as you can see from the pictures. Pricey for a plastic digital alarm clock.

It's a nice clock, that gets shockingly loud for It's size. It has a plenty of options for sleep noise and a great little night light. I don't get an anxiety induced alarm anymore using this clock and it's pleasant to look at. Overall worth the money--given the fact it has more than 3 great features that I personally find very helpful and soothing:)

Looks sleek and works well. However, there’s no actual alarm sound. It’s all nature sounds. I’m a light sleeper but still find it hard to wake up to the sound of a river… but we decided to keep it because we liked the look of it.

I love this little alarm clock. It’s easy to use and has great features. You can dim the display and choose a light or simply leave it off. The alarm tones are nice and natural and not *alarming*. I especially love the sound machine feature; I don’t find any skips or interruptions in the loop like I think some other reviews mentioned and that’s something that’s bothered me with previous sleep playlists.

Cutest little alarm clock. Moving away from using your phone and enjoy light wake up sounds/light? This might be the perfect one for you! It does take a bit to get used to, but I love it. Love the little light and it’s amazing you can adjust the brightness of everything. Highly recommend! I agree with other reviews about not being able to set the alarm silently, but other than that it’s not the biggest issue unless you sleep next to a light sleeper. For the price I was also disappointed that it was made out of plastic, but it does get the look of wood. Also, you should note, the alarm starts 3 min prior to your set alarm time for the gentle wake up. Didn’t know that, so you will be waking up BEFORE the time you set it at.

It had become my favorite bedside clock! Lots of gr at sound and light options and lets me adjust every detail without being complicated! Travels great as well!

Great product with great features , looks smart too

It has over a dozen different sounds, with a lot of volume control. Personally, I like the wind or rain effects. I don't know who can sleep with birds chirping, but hey, maybe that's for meditation or something. I have noisy neighbours, and this helps to drown them out. The brightness is adjustable, too. I have mine turned low, so I'm not blinded when I look at it in the dark. This is a really good quality item. Wish I'd have gotten it years ago, rather than waiting for my previous alarm clock to die.

Does not work with battery as advertised and the cable delivered is made for US sockets. No cables are available for UK/EU applications.Battery holder is not easy to open. A waste of money, item can't be used!
