Mens Gold Cup™ Authentic Original™ 2-Eye Boat Shoe

Well made, comfortable and remarkably narrow - not in a bad way but having narrower feet, I generally find most shoes are created on a medium to wide last these do not seem to be. So far, I am pleased with the purchase. I generally wear a men's 9.5 to 10 depending on brand and shoe, the 9.5 in these Gold Cup Sperry Topsiders fit perfect.

My husband loves this brand of boat shoe. In particular, he likes the look and feel of the Gold Cup Authentic original. The colors are what's he's used to. The fit perfect for his slightly wide feet.

I bought these on sale and they are amazing shoes. If you have a little extra money go for the gold cup and not the regular version, it will be worth it. The gold cup is significantly higher in quality, but you will have to pay more.

Most comfortable shoes ever. I get a new pair whenever mine wear out. There usually last 5 or 6 years too.

If you wear "Wide" shoes, don't buy these from Amazon. Speery has MM , MW, and Wide. This is the 4th pair where I ordered "Wide" yet every time I het "MW" which stands for Medium Wide. After the first order was wrong, I have spoken with customer service reps, and supervisors, but when I placed each order , and again before each shipped. I was assured each time, that I will absolutely receive "Wide" but all 4 times I received MW .. I'm so done with it that I'm keeping the last pair , it's tight and hurts but being leather I hope it will stretch in. This is the most horrible way for a company to do business.. it costed them 4 returns, a great deal of time with customer service, and an angry customer. This is a wonderful shoe if you get the right size , my old pair is wonderful but a little worn. The Gold Cup is way better than the standard .

Hands down the best comfort in a every day shoe!

I have another pair of Sperry 2-eye regular topsiders in 9W that needed replacing. I thought l would get the same size but in the upgraded Gold Cup series. They came in and are of excellent quality but the nice, padded insole made them a bit snug, so l was going to return them and order a 9.5W. That is, until the 9.5 size was 75.00 more than the pair l originally ordered. So now this will be a straight return. Also, some other reviews mentioned it was an MW (medium wide) and not a true W (wide) and they are correct. But, l believe with the soft leather used in the Gold Cup series, they would've broken in just fine after a month of wearing. Not a big fan of Amazon pricing structures.

I can’t comment on durability because I just received them. But I can tell you that I have never put on a pair of shoes that blew me away like these. They are beyond fantastic … the leather outer is soft and supple, and the interior feels like silk sheets. These feel like your best broken in shoes, right out of the box, and my feet have never been happier. I’m not being paid for saying this LOL, I’m just ridiculously happy with how these shoes feel on my feet. Bravo to the folks who make these gold cup Sperrys. Truly phenomenal shoes, with a softness that would make wearing them with socks, a felony hahaha.
