They are similar to a hospital blanket. I would not say like a glove but they do cover whole body. The person I bought the first one for is 6 feet tall and it covers them.nicely.

What size bed does this fit

The size of the blanket is closer to a twin rather than queen. The exact size of the blanket is 66x90. The blanket is made of 100% cotton therefore it will shrink in size after the first wash. A queen mattress size is 60x80. The blanket will cover it, but this is not considered a spread blanket.
