PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS Play Sand (5 lb) Grated & Washed, for Building & Molding

This sand is so soft. I used it for a table center piece. Sand in a very large shell that held candles. It turned out very nice.

This is really nice sand. It's smooth, white, easy to brush off clothes, and the kids love playing with it. I can easily fill up the water table with sand instead of water for my grandson to play with his cars. We can easily add water to make sandcastles too for my granddaughter. Recommend.

It's expensive sand, but it's nice and clean I suppose. I laughed when I saw the size of the bag. I mixed it with another product for my reptile's lay bin then discovered I'd mixed with the wrong product so I quickly had to throw out my expensive sand. Oh well.

Bought to make a lay box for my bearded dragon. A bit pricey for the amount of sand you get but better than having to awkwardly haul a 50 pound bag of sand into my house.

let’s be clear this is some really great sand. The problem is they sell the sand by the pound but they keep it moist. (for the nerds.) i’m losing 1/2 a pound of sand… • If the moisture is 10%: • Dry sand = about 4.55 lb • Water = about 0.45 lb (≈ 7.2 oz of water)

This is high quality, very fine play sand that I ordered for my grandson to be used in a standing sand table. I was disappointed that the sand was a grey color, heavy, did not sift and was very clumpy. After hours of playtime in the sun, the top layer of sand turned white and was able to be sifted. It seemed to have arrived wet and as moisture was drawn out by the sun, it transformed into the quality sand that I expected. I am now very happy with this purchase and the fine texture is amazing.

Extremely soft high quality sand. literally feels like flour in your hands. I had never purchased sand before and was looking for some for my brearded dragons. becuase of the price I will not be buying again any time soon but the quality is worth the price. I went to lowes and got a 50 lb bag of sand for less than $5 instead to finish my tanks and the quality definitely shows in comparison. the $5 sand is rough and not pleasant like this sand. this sand is definitely dust free which i had not understood until i bought cheap sand. if i can afford to one day I would love to only buy this sand.

So this sand is actually a lot of fun to play with, definitely deserves all the 5 start ratings for play sand. I gave it a 1 star to hopefully flag for other consumers looking to purchase for alternate uses like me. I bought this sand hoping to use it as a sand bath for my hamsters (so easy to have Amazon deliver instead of trekking to Lowe’s for cheap playground sand). Unfortunately for my needs it is unusable because it is very damp, I’ve spread it out and am hoping it will dry out. (But in spreading it out to dry I’ll admit to having some fun playing with it lol. The dampness makes it great fun! If it doesn’t dry my kids will have a blast :) True hamster bath sand is expensive, especially if your furballs also like to pee in it (ugh). Guess I’ll head over to Lowe’s after all (Amazon wants $30-50 for the same thing Lowe’s wants $4) 1 star for hamster sand bath 5 stars for what it’s meant to be used for :)
