Studies in Tape Reading

Old but gold
I am stunned for how a book written more than a century ago can address problems still very relevant to today's traders.Richard Wyckoff was a real professional trader and treated his business following common sense and many business guidelines that today are taken as best practices. If you are beginning studying trading or tape reading, this book will offer you many good points to study and improve you business. If you already studied many good books or followed wise advice, this book will only confirm what you think is good.

This book is a must read for any tape readers. Shows the value in the thought process over literally 100 years. Anyone buying technical analysis books is wasting their time

Not fully formatted for Kindle
This is a scanned-in version of the book "Studies in Tape Reading". I gave it 3 stars because it's inexpensive but it would be nice if the publisher would state in the description exactly what you're getting when they claim "Format: Kindle Edition". The standard Kindle features, such as changing the font size, or skipping to a selected chapter, are not available. The print is small. You can expand the page somewhat before it gets too big for the screen, but then you can't turn the page until you shrink it back down again. But, for $2.99. you have the book. Just letting you know what you're getting.

decent book if the market is of interest to you ...
decent book if the market is of interest to you. it was written at the turn of the century so don't expect it to be up to date info. found a few key points that i had already knew but maybe needed to hear it again from a different person. will go back and read it again in a few months to see if i missed anything.

Discover the true meaning of poor
Unreadable and botched up scan of the original book. Only for the diehard fans of Wyckoff interested in the history as most of the book is irrelevant in today’s market.

Returned it
Too old. Interesting read, same basics apply to today's tape, but not worth the buy just too different of a time from then. Every example is in quarter and eighths as that's how it was printed back then however now days you get prints down to a penny.I returned and got something written much more recent and was waay easier to understand and apply to my trading

Very tiny blurry print
Half the width of the book is taken up by blurry margin and the print quality is a bit blurry, making it very difficult to read. It's sitting on my shelf collecting dust. The ebook version may be better.

Great book
This book is outdated however the skills you learn in this book are not. It’s interesting how many of the advice given in today’s book were being given almost 100 years ago.
