Menards are awesome. So far we have 11. For anyone who purchases one blindly, please go to YouTube and watch an episode before judging them. The cars are exactly like the show. I will only comment on series one. Each car comes with 3 cards. My 4 year old and I play with them often and he isn't the most gentle with toys. None has broken. A couple are a bit difficult to fold back into the car but a 12 second step by step video is available online ( address in each box) that solves that dilemma.My 4 year old can transform almost all. A couple are difficult for him but the ages state 6 and above so that's to be expected.Honestly, one of the best constructed well engineered toys we have found.After the first series things may change...but for now I highly recommend the toys...only if you know what you are buying and don't expect to be happy purchasing anything uninformed and without at least a 5 minute research on what it is all about before leaving a negative review

Product as described but needed to purchase this launch car to work the dragon. Kids enjoy it very much.

These new Mecard items are great! Bought for my friend's 4 year old and he loved them! Watched it transform and put it back together to replay with over and over again. They are very durable, being thrown against the wall and still no problems! Well, only problem is it comes with the list of all the other characters, and he wants them all ;)

I don't understand what is up with these Mattel Mecard toys...I've ordered 8 of these transforming cars from a variety of sellers and 5 of them have been delivered with poor packaging (the product package backing coming off). I don't know if it is a defect with the toy packaging itself or the package had previously been opened and returned. Luckily, my son doesn't care about the packaging - we just want to make sure the toy works, the faction sticker has been untouched and the cards are intact. We have generally been happy with the product itself, very cool transforming cars. 5 stars for the toy. Minus stars for the packaging.This particular toy was received in a plastic bag. The package backing was completely unsealed. Just a warning if you plan on sending this as a gift or keeping as a collectible.
