Love this little guy! It is really light weight and compact. It is perfect for storing small amounts. We use this for food prep when we head out in our trailer. It is small enough that we can take it on the road with us too. I love being able to vacuum seal for the freshness and the space in our small fridge in the camper.

Great for small volume

It worked for about 10 bags and then the vacuum function just stopped working properly. It sucks about a quarter of the air and then seals with lots of air still in the bag. There’s no debris or anything blocking the chamber since it’s still basically brand new. The foam pads both seem fine. The motor runs but not at full power, apparently. Next time I’ll spend more on a better brand

Let me tell you, this little vacuum sealer saved me hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on fishing bait this fall. I catch, flash freeze, and seal all of my own bait for saltwater fishing and it has worked through more than 200 bags of bait straight from the lowcountry inlets with all their sandy and salty glory. It can be a little finicky at times but once you understand how to package it right, it vacuum seals like a glove. Whole mullet, blue fish, whiting, shrimp, croaker, shrimp, and string rays with their barbs still attached. It is durable if it is anything, I figured it would be done for by the first round of bait I went through but nope. The instructions are simple, it vacuums quick, and it was the perfect fit for what I was using it for. I even used it on my chicken breasts a couple of times (after cleaning it, of course) to package them into individual packages and it worked like a charm.

Like it. Small so it’s easy to store.

For me, the product seemed cheaply made and has very limited capability. The unit is limited to sealing smaller bags only. I returned it for a more durable vacuum sealer that has 11 inch bag capacity, onboard bag roll storage and a cutter, none of which are available on this unit. If you want a low priced, small, occasional use, compact and simple unit solely for sous vide purposes, this will work.
