The is a manual floor recovery device and will raise you fully 14.5 " with the last level up to chair height (typically 18").  It easily deploys and refolds for storage following use. I suppose you could use them as steps depending upon how much you weigh. But that is not what the product is designed for. It is designed to help you to get up and off the floor when you have fallen. With that purpose in mind, it is a fabulous product.

What is the difference in the Standard  (black) and the Premium (stone color) besides the price and color?

Thank you for your question.  All the colors of the ResQUp are composed of Low Density Polypropylene and manufactured using Rotational Molding Methods.  This process results in a durable composite material yielding a max of 350 lbs and folds into itself for a compact, portable fall recovery device yet weighs only 15 lbs.

The “Premium" colors - Graystone and Safari Brown ResQup resins are more expensive than the “Standard" - Black resin.  Safe Patient Solutions is passing the savings to our customers when they order the “Standard" Midnight Black ResQUp.

Also, the Graystone and Safari Brown come with our custom cover.  The Midnight Black does not include the cover.
