Would definitely buy again.
I used this when I took my 3 yr old son on a 10-day road trip to several national parks. It came in very handy and was easy to store in my hiking backpack. I felt it was built/made well. I was able to use the wrist latch and the harness end on him with no issues. It was very easy to use/user friendly. The leash portion is pretty long but you can always hold it at a length you feel is acceptable. It is coiled though, so this helps keep it from dragging on the ground, which I appreciated.

Safety above all else!!
This item works very very well! Lightweight, comfortable! Easy to use, adjustable fit to grow with your child! Allows your child enough freedom to have tons of fun all the while keeping them within arms reach! Comes in a variety of colors making it a bit more pleasing in appearance! Highly recommended!! Great for beach walks collecting shells, walls thru parks, or stores! Weโve used this in so many places absolute life altering to be honest!

Good quality and has lock I also made some adjustments
It works well and the price was right. favorite feature is the lock to prevent the baby from taking it off. i made some adjustments and used zip ties to keep the fit in place. one thing i noticed is its easy for a squirmy baby to loosen the fit and slip out of this. my 1.5 year old son could loosen this very easily and take it right off in 5 seconds. but after i used zip ties near the adjustment/sizing pieces the fit is locked in now. I also used zip ties to prevent the leash from expanding so much. the default length is way to far in my opinion. more than 9 ft. it really should be no more than 4 ft. you never want your kid more than 4 feet from you. I used zip ties to lock in a distance of 3-4 feet.

Very useful!!
Itโs nice and adjustable (shoulders and across chest) as you can see worn at 2 different times, itโs very child friendly and doesnโt hurt. Thereโs pads on them so they donโt scratch necks or arms. It also locks across the childโs chest which is cool but the key is on the wrist band that the parents wear so make sure itโs not on your wrist when trying to lock

Great
This has survived many toddler full body weight yanks. The buckle on the wrist cuff is a very nice touch, too. Helps keep a little dashing toddler safe!

The best thing you can buy for a trip with an active toddler
I was VERY anti toddler leashโฆ until I had a toddler that needed it. Leave it to the fourth child to show me that every thing can and will be different. We went to Bryce and Zion for Spring Break, did some hiking. First time taking the 18mo. I didnโt want the backpack ones or the stuffed animal ones that would just get dirty or take up storage in the pack. Nor did I want the vest ones that I read could get too sweaty. I wanted a simple harness that would be effective but not stand out, and also store easily. My husband cringed when this came in the mail, I guess I did too. But BOY did that change. This was probably the absolute most important piece I couldโve brought with us. I absolutely think it was make or break in certain situations and we didnโt even know it. Avoided countless meltdowns because of this. My 18mo doesnโt like staying still and does not like holding hands for very long. He loves roaming and grabbing everything. And will dart away in an instant. This simple harness allowed for all of his freedom with safety. We adjusted the straps to his size and that was basically it. Yes it doesnโt fit super snug on smaller aged toddlers. But it didnโt need to. He wasnโt slipping out of it or anything. It was fine. I appreciated the locking aspect. I mean it was a little annoying to have to use the key every few minutes but I get it and I think it will prove extra worthy when he starts to figure out how to unclip them. I really appreciate the wrist cuff for myself. I didnโt think how useful that would be, letting him get his roam on while I had two free hands to drink water or grab something out of the pack real quick. I actually got so many compliments on that feature. People saying how they never saw one that offered you the use of two hands because the cuff. I actually think it made it look less leashy because of it. Second to our hiking carrier, I would say this was the most used item. Every hour or so into the trail Iโd have to get him out to let him get some flow to his legs. So we used it, even let him walk around some of the flatter parts of the trails with no drop offs etc. It was the best. When we were in an area that didnโt have as much free space, I had to hold his cord a little shorter but it still proved worthy because I could at least give him some freedom to use both his hands to touch and grab. Sometimes even that is just enough to prevent a melt down. He started to look forward to it. He knew that getting out of his carrier meant putting it on and getting his chance to walk freely. That routine helped avoid lots of meltdowns because if we didnโt have it, we definitely wouldโve been more hesitant to let him walk freely or would have to be more area aware etc. This helped us just get him down whenever the trail seemed okay enough for him and heโd get to walk like the rest of us. Without too much stopping or thought. Another big plus was that if we knew we were going to take him out sooner that later, we could just leave the harness on while putting him in the pack because it was just flat straps basically. We just unhooked the cord part. Hands down would buy again and recommend it to anyone.

Just do it!
Okay, listen. When I first heard that these were a thing, I was immediately against them. I was a first time mom, who thought this was super mean and not fair on a child. BUT THEN, I had to travel solo, with a my 2 year old, whilst 20 weeks pregnant, and go on an international flight. The thought of worrying about my luggage, my 2 year old, and my exhausted, stressed and pregnant self? Heck no. I swallowed my judge-y stupid pride and bought this and let me tell you: I was dumb. This thing was AMAZING and my kid LOVED it. Who'd have thought! It was able to make the travel so much easier, they had fun, and I didn't have to stress. It's comfortable for both you and the child wearing it- whether they're wearing the harness or just the wrist strap. It is completely worth the money, and keeps your little one safe! I keep it in my car at all times now, because you truly never know when you're going to need it. I have my second child now, and when we go out and they're acting feral, trying to run into the road because they think it's hilarious to watch me run after them? Nope. We put the wrist straps on and we make that a game instead. So, sod the judgement you're worried you might get from other people- if you need the extra help to keep your littles safe- get this! Plus, I'm not going to lie: it's very funny saying to your kid, in public: "Let me get your leash" and watching the horror on non-understanding people's faces, haha.

Amazing product!!
So happy with this. Its a cable so it cant be cut you can lock his buckle so he/anyone else cant undo it without the key which is attached to your wrist which I love. He doesn't mind it at all an it keeps him close an protected if I take my eyes off of him for a second. I Love it Its light an easy to pack.

Great product
My son is 3 yo and very tall so we could not use the chest strap, however we are very happy with the wrist band. it is sturdy (he is strong, tugs on it and it resisting) and confortable to wear. I can push my baby's pram and make sure my oldest won't run away very far. Everybody is safe.
