Do I need to connect the dash cam everytime? Can I use CarPlay/Bluetooth as usual?

You don't need to keep camera connected as it will auto-record after car starts. You only need to connect the camera in the need of viewing or downloading video. No affect the normal use of CarPlay or Bluetooth

Where is the video stored? Can I view video anytime i want?

The video is auto-saved in SD card, not phone. 1. Only if you've downloaded footage to your phone in advance, you can watch it even off the car or remotely. 2. You can also watch it on computer by intserting SD card

With front 4k camera installed, can I add a rear cam separately?

NO, because the PCB boards are different between single front and dual version.

Is the dash cam featured with Parking Sensor? And is it 24h recording?

Not all FlTCAMX dash cams has parking sensor, you need extra harness to upgrade with this function. And there are 24h and non-24h recording option, please confirm with FlTCAMX for more details.

Why dash cam gets hot?

It's normal situation but no worry. 1. The surrounding space of camera is small, and the original parts nearby will cause high temperature. 2. The camera is under windshield which is in direct sunlight by day.

It’s not perfect

Quite a few flaws. Bought this for my 2021 Yukon. Was really worried about installing it myself, but that part was a piece of cake. The rest was kind of a nightmare. You can’t use CarPlay at the same time you’re using your dash cam. My music continually skips when I have my dash cam on. The app doesn’t remember you and you have to reprogram it any time you want to use it. And most importantly, God forbid you get in a bad car accident and your car is totaled. There is no way for you to pull up that footage without somehow getting back into your car (at junkyard) to remove the SD card. I know that’s extreme but the reason we buy these is to cover our butts from a bad car accident.
