Not so bad, but I will take extra care since I ...
I just went to use the rope today, and the handle needs to be broken in. I could not hold on to start. I'll be getting some gloves to solve the problem. It will help my old, arthritic hands. It is also white. Not so bad, but I will take extra care since I want it to look good for awhile. I would not leave it wet in a boat though.

You get what you pay for.
We bought a couple of these and on the of the handles started to peel the grip after the first use. We bought them hoping they would be the same length and we're over 5 feet different length. The second handle began to peel the grip after the 3rd trip of using them.
