I cannot recommend this unit it's only been installed for 3 weeks and it freezes over every time you try to use it to heat the pool We have defrosted it let it wait and turn it back on and it freezes over again It's hard to return something when it's already been installed in your pool system so I guess I'm stuck with it or just by a different brand I'd be very cautious with dealing with this particular brand

So far so good, wish it would warm up the water faster so I got a solar cover witch seems to help a bit but expected more warmth for an30k btu

I have had this heater for about 2 weeks not it’s been fully hooked up for a week. The heater ran non stop for about 3 days then I started turning it off during the night. The pool has never gotten over 77 degrees. I have it set to 90 with a solar cover and another cover I believe it has wanted it up however it has not and I don’t foresee it getting hotter until the temperature outside is hotter. It’s only been in the lower 70’s here. You do need additional hosing. I can’t get the WiFi to connect to mine. Over all it works ok just wish it heated it up more.

Outstanding product! I’ve only had the unit running for 2 days but I am thrilled with it so far. It was easy to install: just plug it in, connect the inlet and outlet and turn it on. Within 24 hours I increased the pool temperature from 80 to 90 degrees in a 6,000 gallon Costco oval pool (22x12). Just make sure you have compatible connectors. I had to find them and the seller sent me an Amazon link and even paid for them. The unit runs incredibly quiet almost silent. The app works well as long as it’s able to connect to the WiFi. The water coming out of the heap pump discharge is actually hot. I rarely leave reviews but I am so excited about finally having a pool we can swim in like two months longer and even in the evening.

Didn’t work had it plugged in for 3 days and on high heat and didn’t warm up my pool at all

Great addition for my pool. Hard piped it in yesterday. Ran it all night and the pool was warm enough for the kids in the afternoon. Outside was around 75 degrees and pool water was about 88 degrees. Pulls little current (7ish amps), and is super quiet. I bought it for the cooling function as well. Can wait to test that in the heat of summer next year.
