An intuitive start to rider's safety! Affordable, Adaptable, with an almost Flawless Execution!
This couldn't have come at a better time for a new rider like me! A techie going through a mid-life crisis? This product is spot on! For the price, you couldn't ask for anything more! Mounting it to my existing helmet was a breeze. The 3M mounting pads are of good quality. To some people that have reported issues mounting the unit, make sure that the surface of your helmet is clean and flat. As you can see in my pictures, my helmet has angles, you have to position the mount onto the unit and find the ideal mounting position before you permanently bond it to your helmet. I allowed the 3M mounting a full day to adhere. This includes the mounting of the remote. I sandwiched my mount between the left side handlebar grip and the controls. The mount is sturdy and the remote is convenient. The 1 grand+ helmets have a touchpad that causes you to take your hand off the handlebar, this unit is much more natural with the thumb. The image is clear and the HUD doesn't obstruct your view as long as it is positioned properly! The rearview camera's image is crystal clear in both daytime and nighttime riding. The sound from the headphones provides a good sound for my music listening experience. It's not too loud or too low! The call quality according to my GF was crystal clear, and the noise canceling was really good. She did not hear wind noise or the sound of my motorcycle while we were talking. Android Auto is a breeze; I would like to be able to see my Dexcom G7 info and heart rate info on the screen. This however isn't the fault of MOTOEYE, maybe android auto, but either way, I would like to see a card added to either android auto or MOTOEYE E6+ that will display this! I am totally happy with my purchase! I am proud to be an early adopter here in East Central Mississippi. I've purchased additional accessories such as the battery pack and tire monitor sensors. I hope to purchase the forward-facing camera this summer. MOTOEYE, please consider the feasibility of adding LDWS, FCWS function to the forward-facing camera. This should be possible with a software upgrade or app. To every rider considering this product, you will not be disappointed! The price is affordable, and the design is ergonomical, and the Bluetooth connectivity is excellent! I haven't had a single drop as of yet! The MOTOEYE E6+ plays extremely nice with my Moto Razr 2024! I cannot stress this enough! The 3M is good quality, clean the mounting surfaces 1st and foremost and give it time to adhere. I gave it 24hrs. Do not stick it to your helmet and the controls to your bike, then go riding immediately! Not even automotive 3M will hold without giving it time to adhere! The 3M mounting included in this kit is automotive quality!

The device works, but there are problems, mainly with UX/UI
My main function for the device is the rear-view camera. This works well, but I had to put tape on the front side of the prism, otherwise it is very hard to focus my eye on it when there is too much light. With the tape, it's easier (but not effortless). My secondary function is listening to music. This also works well, but it brings us to the main problem of the device: The UX/UI. I think they can solve this with little effort when they upgrade the software. Here is the email I wrote to them about it just now: My Feedback: Main problems: Cannot save host volume settings (have to change every time I start the host) I have to go to camera manually every time (I only want to use the camera) Voice control works very badly (Cannot go to camera with voice control. Volume control is very buggy - it only controls Bluetooth volume, and resets host volume to very low). There is also no option to set the volume number, so for example, if I am at volume 0 and want to go to 100 - I have to say "increase volume" ~17 times, this is impractical. What I want to happen automatically when I start the device: 1. After initial loading, the device should go straight to rear camera mode (this should be a possible configuration for those who want just the camera) 2. Volume setting should be always saved as they were last configured (no need to set every time). This way, I don't really need voice control, either. Currently, every time I start the device, I have to: 1. Wait for the host to start (~10-15 seconds) 2. Turn on the remote control by pressing any key on it, or start the phone app and open the virtual controller 3. Change to camera view (by pressing the camera key on the remote control or virtual controller) If I want to listen to music, I also must: 4. Start Bluetooth music on my phone (this can be done via voice command) 5. Change volume setting via remote control or virtual controller (turn volume up to max) Please fix this in the next version. I believe this will be useful to many of the users, and I don't think it requires a lot of work from you to change this.

Very complicated setup.
The overall concept is good as far as the rearview camara, which is a extremely expensive mirror with a very short battery life span, the setup straight out of the box is very difficult and complicated because it's so much you have to do in each settings to get it to perform well, I don't really use any of the other features other than the rearview camara because my phone can handle everything else, I already have a Bluetooth monitor and speakers attached to my helmet that works great but I can't run it at the same time when I have the Motoeye connected, so it's either my YouTube music with my system or just the camera with Motoeye with a short battery life, actually I was better off with just a standard handlebar mirror which is very sufficient and a lot cheaper with no battery life span. The Motoeye camara clarity is very good, the mph meter is accurate, the overall concept is good it just needs to be improved in certain areas, you will need to be creative with the stickers to get the HUD mounted properly on the back of your helmet, you can easily adjust the size of the viewing frame to make it wider or closer, I highly recommend that you keep your handlebar mirror attached at all times just for a safety precaution in case the Motoeye battery runs out, if you are buying this for all the other features you can easily enjoy it once you figure out how to get everything right, for me it's just a very expensive mirror, I only gave it three stars because of the battery life and the straight out of the box setup complications, will I keep it? Yes, because it still serves a purpose and there's other features to enjoy, would I highly recommend it? It's all about your personal needs and your budget, there's plenty of options out there, but the rearview camara on the back of the helmet and the lenses clarity and the eye piece adjustment and mount is the sweet spot.

Feel Like Tony Starks
The product came on time. I wish that I got it much earlier. I am still playing around with it, but I am already so impressed. Getting it to fit snuggly to the rear of the helmet was no issue. They provide extra double-sided foam tape. I added a little hot glue to the base just to make sure it do not pop off. I would hate for it to, knowing my luck it would get ran over by the car behind me. The image is very clear, better than what is shown on the videos.

It works as a screen only, if you have your own comm device on your helmet
I received the item and installed right away, with very big expectations and thanks god, it worked perfectly fine. I didn’t have a chance to try it on my bike yet but, the connection was flawless and it is bright enough even I turned my head to bright daylight. I will update this review after I try it on the bike but, I was in the hurry to give the good news for the people who already have their comm device. You do not need to install the speaker and microphone of Motoeye, if you have your own. I am using iPhone 16 and it is connected to HUD and controller of the unit for visual and to my Cardo for the voice, intercom and music. This is perfect and your sound quality will bot be changed and will be able to use the assistants like SIRI, directly from your phone. I also ordered, 2 sets of, base unit of HUD and Optical Module for my other Helmets. It is very easy to transfer from helmet to helmet. Control unit is also working very hood and it was very easy to change the screen from main to CarPlay and navigate between pages. Rearview is also amazing. But my review will come for it after I use on the road. I must say that unit is able to work while connected to charging as per the answer I received from the manufacturer. I have a small power bank for my jacket pocket and connect it to Motoeye while riding for longer hours.

Iron man cool
The unit works very well and is very clear when positioned perfectly, even with glasses. There lies the problem, it is difficult to position perfectly and maintain while riding. They need a better mounting solution.

Very cheap for how expensive it is.
The unit itself and associated hardware are rock solid and seem to be good quality. The firmware or software smack of the cheapest and poorly translated Chinese interface I seen on a device with such a premium pricetag. The volume is unusable, the interface is clunky and android auto is far more difficult to navigate with a remote. In my opinion is is more dangerous to have this than to just have a touchscreen. It has a lot of capabilities like tpms and pairing to other audio devices and digital intercom that works with brands like cardo though. The app is a cheap feeling Chinese app that will take a moment to figure out and is required. Don't even get me started on the issues it has. Overall, if a customer has to purchase something like this, they really ought to include some extras to give us more value for money. Maybe throw in the tpms sensors or a front camera.

Amazing technology
Setup was really quite simple with app and connecting my iPhone to unit. Once you have the units attached to helmet and remote on handlebars you’re ready to go. Keep your phone safe in your pocket. The rear camera at just a push of a button is good. You can change how much of screen is used for rear camera when pushed in the app and how long it stays on. What really sets this device apart though is having all the features of CarPlay available to you when your phone is connected. Using the maps feature was super handy. Calls were nice and clear as well. Great device if you’re confident on your bike. The view is somewhat transparent and transparency is adjustable in the app but does take getting used to having image in your line of sight.

High Tech Motorcycle HUD
The HUD is packed with features like CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS, rearview camera, and even intercom. It makes riding safer by keeping important info in view without looking down. Setup takes a little patience, but once installed, it works beautifully. The noise reduction for calls and music is impressive, and the RGB lights are a cool touch. A real upgrade for long rides.

Practice makes perfect
I'm a little torn on how to rate this. I think for an experienced rider this could be super helpful. I found the projected screen too distracting and felt a little overwhelmed, but like I mentioned above I think a more experienced rider could probably handle this better. It was a little tricky to set up, I did have to get some help from a friend. The communication feature whilst riding is great. I did notice a significant reduction in outside noise whilst speaking. I think when I feel more confident on the road this will be super helpful.

An Incredible First-Gen Motorcycle HUD
This is an absolutely awesome first-of-its-kind, first-generation motorcycle heads-up display that genuinely makes me feel like Ironman. The display is projected through a semi-transparent magnetic eyepiece and shows all the info I’d normally need while riding, Google Maps, Spotify, contacts, and more. It supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and even phone screen mirroring, which is a huge plus. It comes with a Bluetooth headset, two speakers (one for each ear), and a noise-cancelling, windproof microphone. One of the standout features is the rear-facing camera. While the image quality isn’t the highest, it’s more than good enough for documenting incidents or quickly checking behind me. There’s also an upgrade option for a front-facing camera, which is great. The HUD brightness is fully adjustable and not distracting at all. It can go super bright or very dim depending on conditions, and the automatic brightness adjustment works seamlessly. The picture quality is sharp and easy to read, even while riding. The build feels incredibly solid. The magnetic eyepiece stays firmly in place and the whole unit is perfectly stable, it doesn’t wobble while riding. Although it’s adjustable, it still feels like a single, well-engineered piece. Everything from the headset to the housing has a high-quality, durable feel. Battery life gives about 3 hours of ride time, but there’s an option to upgrade with an external battery that extends usage to around 8 hours, which is great for longer trips. There are also plenty of optional upgrades depending on what I need. It has built-in GPS for reliable data and navigation, and everything works smoothly. The included remote is easy to use, whether mounted or kept in a pocket. Overall, this is a super neat, well-built, and forward-thinking piece of tech for riders. It’s packed with features, designed with real use in mind, and just a joy to ride with. I’m absolutely loving it.
