Don't know why I hadn't bought one of these sooner!! This Fish tank cleaning Scraper / brush works wonders on helping to keep you fish tank glass nice and clear. It came with two attachments. One is for glass tanks and one is for acrylic tanks. The use is simple....a very strong magnet holds the part of the unit with the scrub area securely through the glass for you to move back and forth / up and down to thoroughly clean the glass easily removing algae buildup without the frustrations of putting hands in the tank's water. The magnet is very stable when using it to clean and is very durable for repeated use. A must have for fish tank enthusiasts.

Great quality, very strong magnets, this is perfect for my 10 gallon aquarium. It comes with 2 scrubbing pads that snap into place so you can use it for glass or acrylic tanks. The pad for glass has a warning printed on the back to advise it is ONLY for glass, that will help you tell them apart if needed. Otherwise blue scrubber for acrylic and black scrubber for glass. This is very effective at cleaning the inside of the tank. Intuitive design and size. There is a nub on one end to keep the scrubbing above the substrate. You can go slowly around the corner and the scrubber will hop to stick to the next side of the tank. This does not float, but will sink straight down if separated. This is my 2nd one to be able to keep nearby for both the upstairs and downstairs tanks. You can compare the included before and after pictures - on the before pic you can see the clean paths from snail travel on the inside of the glass, on the second we are nice and clear - victory!.

This effortlessly removes algae from the inside of my glass aquarium. It has two different cleaning surfaces, and the bristly surface cuts through stuck on algae so much better than my traditional tank brush on a stick. The felt surface is not nearly as effective as the bristly surface. I accidentally bought the smaller size and thought I'd regret it, but this is a product that takes hardly any time at all to use and it's very efficient at removing the algae growth, so I have yet to see the need to upgrade to the appropriate size for my tank. Overall, this leaves my glass tank sparkling clean and I'm so appreciative of the time it saves me cleaning the aquarium. There's been no damage incurred from use of this product on my glass tank walls. And, bonus points, it's now a chore that my young children can help out with and they enjoy driving the algae cleaner around the tank cleaning algae from the sides. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the magnets don't line up perfectly when I try to maneuver around corners and if they line up wrong, it can make the two sides repel each other, resulting in me having to fish out the half that goes inside the tank and trying to get it aligned correctly again. So I do wish that the magnets were slightly stronger so that it would be easier to go around corners without the halves falling away from each other.

Ok used this magnetic cleaner on a 20 gallon freshwater aquarium with green algae on the glass. Worked like a charm. Super good price and size. Just move it back and forth and the algae gets scrubbed off. Glass looks nice and clean again. The little grip is easy to hold and does not slip out of my hand. Would buy again.

Wow, this is definitely a game changer, works like a charm, it even turns corners, the magnet is super strong, at one point I pulled the handle away from the glass and it fell but I was able retrieve it simply by wiggling the handle and it came right back in place, great job Aqueon

Having been in the aquatic hobby for nearly 30 years, I can tell you that a good algae scraper is worth its weight. This one does the job. It has both glass and acrylic pads that can clean off the algae. I only have 2 complaints. First is that the magnet appears to be a little weak to keep the unit together when you have the tougher spots to clean. Second is that the inside unit does not float, so when it inevitably falls to the bottom of the tank, you can't retrieve it with the exterior magnet. Now your hand is all wet, thus defeating the purpose of the magnetic cleaner all together. It cleans the algae, but a couple quality of life improvements could have earned it a 5 star!

I was going to return it as it left a film of algae on my tank. When I went to place it back into the package I noticed another part that was for glass aquariums. Nice clean tank now! Strong magnet.

Si tienes plantas, piedras o adornos muy cerca de los cristales te costará limpiar o de plano no podrás sin destruir tu decoración, les doy un tip, pongan una fibra de estas verdes que se usan para lavar los platos por dentro entre el cristal y el imán, esto hace que se mueve más suave y no pegue los "brinquitos", en general bien, lo uso en dos acuarios con cristal de 9mm y todo bien, no flota lo cual es algo que no me gusta pero bueno, lo puedo pasar por el costo.

Tiene unos imanes potentes, y hace que limpiar el acuario sea mejor compré el mini aunque mi acuario es de cristal tendré que reemplazar después el material por el correcto
