Native Pet GutWell Trim Down has been a great addition for my dogs. They eat it with no problem and it hasn’t caused any stomach issues. I love that it supports both digestion and healthy weight management. The ingredients are clean, the smell isn’t overpowering, and I’ve noticed more consistent digestion and good energy levels. Definitely a product I feel good about giving my dogs 🐾

Seems to be helping after 2 bags. Ordered a 3rd. It's a bit pricey, but my dog loves it and will even eat it by itself. Yorkie mix.

I cannot recommend Native Pet's Weight Management supplement enough. My dog, a beagle who is a master at begging and finding scraps, needed help getting to a healthier weight after our vet expressed some concern. We already had him on a weight management food, but we were struggling to see significant progress. That's when I found this. The triple-biotic blend (pre, post, and probiotic) is clearly doing its job. I've noticed his digestion has improved significantly—no more upset stomach—and he seems genuinely more satisfied after meals. The constant begging has drastically reduced, which tells me he's feeling fuller and more content. The fact that it's formulated by a board-certified veterinary nutritionist gave me so much confidence in the ingredients. I love that it includes L-Carnitine for energy and lean muscle, and I can actually see a difference in his activity level. He's more playful and energetic on our walks, not sluggish. The best part? He thinks it's a treat! It's so easy to serve—I just mix a scoop into his regular food—and he devours it. No fighting to get him to take a pill or powder. Knowing it's cold-pressed with no fillers or artificial junk makes me feel good about what I'm giving him. The results are already visible. He's lost a few of those extra pounds, his coat looks shinier, and he has a new spring in his step. This product delivered on every single promise. We have been through about 7 bags of the Gutwell trim down for dogs. Our dog is about 75 lbs. I believe that he may have something like hypothyroidism but his blood work comes back normal and our vet didn’t see anything on his labs. It’s super frustrating because we have him on a diet, we do not give him peoples food, and he gets very minimal treats during the day. The poor guy! So we decided to try to give him this! We followed the scoop directions on the bag first to start and then to maintain. A bag does not last long when you have a big dog. So not only do you need to get a bag like every 12-15 days, but they’re expensive. We were willing to try it though because I do feel bad for my boy (even though he doesn’t seem to mind and is very active, very mobile and very happy otherwise!). Our dog loved the taste and he ate it happily with his food. It was easy to use the scooper included in the bag to know how much to give him. The smell did not bother me. Our dog has some stomach issues and this did not cause any stomach or GI issues which is a plus. We did not notice any negative issues. We also did not really notice anything changing in terms of helping with his appetite or any help with weight loss. Unfortunately it did not work for us.

I bought this product because my boy has been gaining weight and we can't find the cause. We are having to keep reducing his calorie intake and I was really hoping this product would help fill the gaps and not have him feel hungry. He ate it one time and then stopped eating his food. HE IS VERY FOOD MOTIVATED and he never refuses to eat, especially when he is already hungry from not being able to eat as much. The "food" is kinda weird also. It looks like rabbit pellets and it comes in a very small bag. I tried soaking it and that didn't make a difference. This is the only time I've seen him not want to eat, so I really don't know what's up with it. I stopped putting it in and he is eating again. 🤷‍♀️ In this economy and being on a fixed income I really hate that I've wasted $30 on something I'm gonna have to throw away. Wish I could get a refund 😞

I purchased this with fairly low expectations. I was hopeful it might help support weight management for my dogs, but I also knew it wasn’t going to be a miracle product. While I don’t think this is a bad product at all, I personally didn’t notice any significant difference in my dog’s weight while using it. That said, there were definitely some positives. It didn’t cause any stomach issues, and my dogs had no digestive upset while taking it. They also had no problem eating it—I simply mixed the pellets into their food and they consumed it without hesitation. The pellets themselves are easy to measure and add to meals, and there’s very little odor, which is nice compared to some other supplements. I also didn’t notice any negative effects on their skin or coat while using it. One downside is the size of the bag. There isn’t a lot of product, so depending on the size of your dog it may not last very long. Because of that—and the fact that I didn’t see a noticeable difference—I personally don’t think the price point makes it worth repurchasing for me. I also wish it came in additional flavor options, since dogs with chicken allergies wouldn’t be able to use this. Overall, I like the Native Pet brand, but I just can’t say this particular product made a noticeable difference for my dogs.
