My only issue with these was the home for the battery post was to small so I filed the post down a little and worked great.Plua side is thati was able to tighten then down very tight and they didn't strip.Overall good product and would buy again

Bought this for the purpose of wiring in the positive side of a sub amp on a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado. First impressions were great. The terminals are very aesthetically pleasing and are machined and finished very well. Included all the necessary tools and hardware as well. There were no instructions which are noted across other reviews. It was pretty easy to understand how to install it though. For those wondering, there is a socket head screw which tightens the terminal to the battery lug, a set screw to keep it secure from rotating, and then the 4 line terminal attachments have set screws for each point as well as a flanged and serrated hex nut. If you are attaching a ring terminal, you will have to insert the set screw to a depth leaving enough engagement threads for the hex nut (plus the ring terminal thickness) and then will have to hold the set screw in place with the provided allen wrench and tighten the nut as if it is a jam nut. If it had went on no issues then based on the above comments above I would have rated it 5 stars. The reason I dropped 2 stars was because it was too small for the battery terminal lugs/posts. Negative side was just pretty tight but the positive was flat out too tight to install correctly. I had to bend the terminal connection open and then once it fit on the battery post it was opneed too far to get the tightening bolt to engage the threads due to misalignment. At that point I contemplated returning it but prying it open and then trying to squeeze it back closed while installing the bolt did some damage due to how soft the metal is. I said screw it and used a scrap piece of lumber and a hammer to brute force it down on the battery post. Definitely gauged up my battery post but did the trick. I dry fitted these on about 4 different batteries and they were too small for them all. Seems like the lug side connection needs a design tweak. But now that it is on I have my 4AWG amp wire hooked up securely and it seems like it will do the job. Maybe I have batteries where all have oversized posts but that doesnt seem likely. Overall it does the job but I'm just not a fan of having to beat it on and damaging a $250 battery. Would have spent a few extra bucks for a better fit if i had known before hand.

These are great. I have a lot of accessories going to the battery like subwoofer, extra lights, winch, etc. and I need a way to safely and securely attach the leads to the battery. These have tons of real estate and they seem to be holding up ok. One gripe is the diameter of the connectors where they sit on the battery posts. They are too small for my jeep battery. No, I don’t have an oversized battery either. I had to pry them apart to get them over the posts and squeeze the heck out of them to get the bolt back through. Overall, they’re working really good.
