I haven't been able to use it yet. I am 6'1" 215 lbs , with a 44" chest, which is the widest part of my torso. Based on the sizing chart a large fits up to a 44", . Extra-large starts at 43 and goes to 47". I like my life jackets to fit snug, so ordered a large. Some reviews say they stretch when wet. When I tried it on there was about a 4" gap between the zippers, wasn't even close to fitting. Not even sure if an xl will fit.
