The main materials are paper and really soft foam. I gifted this to our friend's daughter. She's been so excited about the rangoli that they have a new one at their doorstep everyday! Perfect for young kids!
This is an awesome kit! Love that everything, including the glue, comes in the kit. The instruction cards are perfect and you can split up the crafts to do on separate days. Lovely!

Great Diwali crafts!
Fun with kids, the lamp didn’t really stay together but we made it work with additional tools from home!

Instructions for lantern were not correct
Was disappointed that instructions for lantern were not correct. Will not buy this again next year. The quality of products used is good though. May be they should consider writing correct instructions.

Not bad
I was expecting better quality. The door decor is cute, I wish instead of glue, stick on jewels were provided -- would have been easier for my 4 and 5 year olds to do on their own. My kids and I were not happy with the Lantern craft at all. Instead of the lantern (which turned out looking very funky), we used the beads and strings to make a couple bracelets. We haven't done the rangoli yet, but I'm pretty sure the kids will enjoy. For over the $20 mark, I would expect a little more.
