Shoyu is our go-to dressing when one of our friends blesses us with fresh fish. Angelo Pietro dressings are versatile as a marinade for seafood, pork, poultry, and beef as well as a dip blended with mayonnaise and as a dressing for vegetable dishes and pasta. Bottles retail for $6-7 and can occasionally be found on sale, two for $8-10. All of this means that the Amazon price with the Subscribe & Save option, currently $5.89 is reasonable. Now, a 9.3-ounce bottle of dressing might not sound like a good value at the price but this dressing is dabbed on rather than poured on foods. The thin cap restricts the dressing to a slow dribble. How good is it? Well, my sons (ages 11 and 9), sneak pieces of French bread into the bottom of their salad bowl, which empties much faster when Angelo Pietro dressings are applied instead of ranch or Italian dressings. Best dressing on the market by far. My family calls this crack sauce cuz it’s so addictive lol I’m almost regretting leaving a review so they don’t sell out..

I was blown away by its bold flavor and deliciousness! I bought this for my daughter but now I’m obsessed! I have not enjoyed a salad this much in a while! I can’t wait to try it with other things and on meat! I can’t wait to try other flavors too! Highly recommend!

Before I bought a 3 pack of Angelo Pietro Dressings with the Orignial, Miso/Sesame, and Gingervarieties but I'm really only coming back to purchase more of the Original Flavor! Don't get me wrong, the other flavors were very good but I wouldn't consider them anything really unique to other Japanese dressings on the market. This Original Dressing though is something I can't say I've every had before. It truly is a blend of Japanese and Italian tastes, melding a vinegar tang with a small subtle sweetness. Everyone in my household loves it with pretty much anything, personally love it with a bit of pita bread as a go-to snack. But as others have said use it sparingly as a little goes a long way, it is flavorful enough with only a few drops. And also I recommend reusing the bottles for homemade sauces and dressings, the packaging and design of their bottles are so wonderful, practical and visually appealing. Sour and sweet, with a bit of acidity, really delicious

This is the best salad dressing if you like oil and vinegar, vinaigrette or balsamic dressings.

I have been using this great dressing since 1982 when I purchased several bottles in HONG KONG. I had it shipped from Hong Kong for several years until I lost contact with the manufacturer. After a lot of searching I found he had moved to HAWAII in the early 2090. I called him and he shipped me 8 bottles and I have not been without the best since then. Once you find a flavor you like, you are hooked!!
