Very light weight and easy to install. Love that you don't have to change light bulbs and there is a remote that attaches to the wall so you can easily keep up with it.

I have purchased 4 ceiling fans the past week and they are assemble in a different way and work differently. They are all made of plastic and metal with very light highly efficient DC motors. This model was mostly plastic and I was concerned about how it would perform. The directions are wrong you can't install the plastic housing to the motor assembly and then attach the blades. The plastic housing is cone shaped making it impossible too position a screwdriver in the proper position to screw on the blades. After removing the plastic housing I attached the blades. Then I reattached the plastic housing to the motor assembly. The mounting bracket has a small hook you can hang the motor assembly on when connecting the electrical wires. I used lever wire connectors which make it easy connecting solid and stranded wire together. After connecting the unit to the mounting bracket I screwed the units together. The receiver does not include an antenna but because the housing is plastic the remote worked fine. The electrical wires connected to the ceiling fan are controlled by a wall switch. When I turned the wall switch on the light comes on. That is great you can't be fumbling around with a remote in the middle of the night trying to turn the light on. You can then use the remote to adjust brightness or fan speed. For safety reasons receivers for all remote controlled ceiling fans should be connected to electrical wires controlled by a wall switch. This way if there is ever a problem with the receiver you can cut the power immediately. In conclusion so far so good the ceiling fan works as advertised even though it is cheaply made.

It works perfect and yes when you turn the light off it does have where it’s a night light. I like it only cause I live in the country and when it’s dark it’s dark so a little night light is perfect. It doesn’t bother me while sleeping meaning it’s nothing bright. Will definitely will buy again if and when I need to.

I hate to leave 1 star but the quality of these fans are absolutely terrible. The screws that are provided to mount the fan blades to the fan blade brackets are of so poor quality that they snap off. Additionally, you cannot tighten said screws down enough for the fan blades to be tight and secure as they still shift which is sure to cause the blades to wobble. Everything is plastic. Also, was trying to secure the fan blades and brackets into the motor but it is difficult as you have to go in through the top of the already hung fan and it's difficult to get those screws to seat in their respective holes. My entire fan fell off the ceiling while trying to do this as the fan is only secured to the base at the ceiling by ONE screw. I guess they think twisting the motor into the base is enough but it isn't. I bought these fans in May and only got around to putting them up now in July and now it's too late to return them via Amazon. I also attempted to contact the manufacturer as they say they have a warranty on the fans but neither the link to write them or their phone number works. Worthless. Stay away from ZMISHIBO products.
