Powermaster - Alt GM 12SI Natural 100A 1V Pulley 1 or 3 Wire

Powermaster 7294 accepts double pully switch over from origional alternator on Jeep Grand Wagoneers (spindle is long enough). Double pully is necessary for Grand Wagoneers with AC (at least 86-91)! Dozens of alternators sold at autoparts stores and on line say they "fit" full size (FSJ) 5.9 liter Jeep Grand Wagoneers, but beware. Many will not accept the double pully from the old alternator and are useless. The Powermanster alternator was delivered next day by Amazon. Well packaged, has instructions, no core charge or return required, priced reasonably, and it's obviously more professionally produced. Others I tried were either defective or would not take the double pully. If you have Grand Wagoneer with AC, THIS ONE WORKS!!!

Well worth the money. Solid output at any any rpm so far. Best alternator ive found in the last 4 years thats not chinese junk. All of the weird electrical issues ive been fighting are gone now. So worth it.

Bought this for my 12v conversion and the 1-Wire was a great option. Simplified the wiring down to the minimum. 100a is plenty for this old Jeep. Most run less than 60a but I wanted some headroom so I can run some radio equipment, a winch and a 12v fridge. Installation was like any alternator. Just needs one wire to go to the battery and it's ready to run.

Bought this for my 1977 Chevy c10 installed it in 20 minutes with no problems. My volt gauge doesn’t dip below 13-14 amps now pretty damn happy for now. Will update later if anything goes wrong.

Installed this on my mf 135 after buying one before this and it burned up on engine startup. This alternator works great though...perfect. if had it keeping my battery up and a nice size winch on the front of the tractor and occasional electric pump spray rig on the back. But still the voltage does great and current rating is accurate by my donut style current display.

Replaced an aftermarket alternator on my '78 Trans Am WS6... HUGE improvement. Worth the money.

Powermaster packaging was first class, instructions were great, had to mount the pulley from my old alternator to this one and hookup the wiring. Did some initial multimeter tests on first startup and everything checked out to the performance test card that comes with the alternator. No more dead battery when my electric fans come on. Great alternator rock solid performance.

Excelente amperaje incluso en ralenti. Silencioso y poderoso. Actualmente lo tengo en una camioneta chevrolet con sistema de 2 baterías grandes y las mantiene perfecto. No cae el voltaje por más que le cargues accesorios o AC al sistema. Es plug&play para chevy SBC de los 70's pero yo lo puse en un BBC 454 y quedó muy bien, solo que tuve que ir al torno para hacer más grade el hoyo por donde pasa el tornillo que lo sujeta a la cabeza, como viene es para tornillo de 3/8 pero las cabezas de mi BBC ocupan 7/16. Lo hicieron en el taller local de torno por $40 y quedó al 100%. Pagué por él $2600. Muy contento con mi compra, si lo recomiendo, el precio varia, sugiero esperar oferta para que de verdad convenga.

Excelente alternador, dudaba en comprar un alternador de esta marca en Amazon, pero la verdad quedé sorprendido al ver qué si era original, venía bien empaquetado y con su instructivo y pruebas de rendimiento, ya tiene más de un mes montado en mi camioneta Chevrolet cheyenne y sin problemas el voltaje no baja de 14.4 V, eso sí hay que tener buen cable para evitar caídas por cables viejos.

Lasted 2K miles before bearings failed. Completely destroying alternator.
