Pemko Brush Door Bottom Sweep, Clear Anodized Aluminum with 0.625" Gray Nylon Brush insert, 0.25" Width, 1.375" H x 48" L - 18061CNB48

Used for screen porch French doors. Was able to cut the 48” sweep and install it as two 24” halves. Spray painted black to match door hardware - the bristles are capable of sliding out of the metal piece for painting. I am very happy with the quality, especially for this price. Hardware was included (8ct screws) and item shipped in a huge long box. I was expecting black colored bristles, like the main product photo shows, but am happy regardless. Bristles are a light grey color.

Our shed needed something to keep the birds, worms and insects out. These bottom sweeps work much better than I thought they would. The smaller wrens were flying in and getting stuck inside, the worms were crawling in and dying, eww, and I needed something that would really make good contact with the ground. These sweeps have stiff brushes on the bottoms and are adjustable. Putting them on was fairly simple, I just made sure they were in contact with the concrete all the way across when attaching them. No birds or worms get in at all. Yay!

This worked perfectly where I needed it. Not sure why I had to cut it down, but it was easy to do and easy to install. I'll have to wait and see how well it serves the purpose for which it's intended...to keep dirt from blowing in the back north facing door. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs it, but rating "I love it" is going a little too far. How do you love a door sweep?

Unfortunately I didn't look at it's measurements before ordering. I've user others in the past which were much taller. Otherwise its fine.

Been on our office door for months and still does it's job well.

Not very sturdy, would not use on high traffic door.
