Artaste Rain II Forged 18/10 Stainless Steel (Silver (Set of 12), Teaspoon (7-Inch))

These WONDERFUL Artaste 18/10 stainless teaspoons weigh in at a hefty 57 grams, approx. 2 ounces each. Well worth the cost, compared to some of Amazon's 12/$10 range (which have sharp edges and tend toward flimsiness). Each Artaste teaspoon is a skosh over 7". The depth of the spoon part (sans handle) is a scant 1/4", the length of spoon part is approx. 2 3/8", and the spoon part is approx. 1 3/8" at its widest. The handle is rounded, so it tends to clank against a ceramic mug, which is annoying to some people, but otherwise this teaspoon is PERFECT; it's elegant but durable. I expect that over time, these spoons will develop a patina that reflects wear and tear, as I will be using these spoons every day, dishwashing them, and storing them in my flatware drawer. They'd retain their newness longer if better cared for, but that is not my concern -- I'd rather have a weighty, sturdy spoon that performs to my expectations

Look & feel great, but has anyone tested for manganese?

these spoons look great, feel great, are solid (forged) and extremely good quality. i even read a review that complained they were so heavy they fell off the plate… lol good. they are so nice i purchased a backup set so if any go missing/damaged they can be replaced, but i have had my originals about 2 years and they are still bright and shiney as the day they arrived ( save for surface scratches ).

I bought these as extras--because I was always running out of teaspoons, and this pattern would go well with (if necessary) my existing pattern of flatware. The quality of these seems to be high: I've noticed no flaws, and the weight and balance are good, if a bit on the heavy side. Please note that these spoons are a little larger than standard teaspoon flatware, but smaller than the table or soup spoons.

These spoons have a good weight; they feel solid. Very shiny. Very smooth. No rough edges. Teaspoon size. They are exactly what I wanted. If they have forks and knives I’m going to buy those too! Very pleased with the purchase.

This spoon is neither a teaspoon or a tablespoon. The manufacturer has seemed to create its own size. Clunky and wrong.

We bought a whole set of Artaste II Rain flatware a couple years ago. They are sturdy, high quality, and have a nice sleek design so we came back to buy more spoons for our set. (The only downside is that these heavy-handled pieces easily fall off your plate/bowl when carrying them, flinging food onto the floor with them.)

I like the spoons and have bought an entire set. However, one of the spoons was razor sharp on the edge. It was so sharp it could cut your lip. It's looks like somebody went to town with a grinding wheel on one side. I'll make due with 11 tea spoons.

I spent a lot of money for this and I’m surprised by that bad polishing but still nice
