The feathers are not itchy. It’s basically a choker with a stiff cape. The ribbon around your neck might get a little uncomfortable outside but overall, it’s pretty light and comfortable. Might lose some feathers though if it’s windy.

Fabulous accessory

This arrived in two days and looked exactly as described. It’s not too big to be in the way, but very much a statement piece. It’s got a silky backing so it’s not itchy. Color is like an oil slick, deep, shining black… it received lots of compliments. I will be able to incorporate this into costumes and even festive outfits for years to come.
