Metal Replacement Repair Kits, Thumbsticks Thumb Grip Bullet and D-pad Buttons Compatible with PS4/PS4 Slim/PS4 Pro Controller (Purple)

It was easy to install if you know how to take apart a controller, and the buttons work as well as the normal ones. From what I can tell, the bullets aren't actually real, I had ones before that I know for a fact were real, and they were way different. Anyway, the joysticks are also slightly higher than the normal dualshock 4 joysticks if that's an issue, I don't mind. The D-pad works fine and there's nothing special about it.

These buttons look and feel awesome (way better than stock buttons and analogs that come in controller.Here were the only issues I encountered:There are grooves that are on the bottom of the X Square Triangle and O buttons that fit with the controller they are made withKeep in mind not every controller is made the same for ps4 through the yearsThese buttons didnt match the groove that my controller had in the socket where they are placed, instead there was an extra cut out on the buttons of this productSo what I had to do was file down that extra cut out on each of the buttons which took about 10 minutes to file off on all of them total timeNext was the analog sticks which as others here stated were giving them issuesOne was tilted to the left when I put it inFor this I again filed down the actual stick that the (analog) stick sits on to even it outAgain this is different for every controllerIt may sound like a lot but it took me about 20 minutes total to do all of this before I was back and runningDespite that for the price I didnt mind doing this at all and it was well worth itThese buttons make the controller feel much more expensive and the analog sticks are perfect for and shooter (or any game) where you need that quick movementVery happy with this product overall and would highly recommendAgain every controller is different and it really wasnt a lot of work even if they were 20 dollars id say the same

Over the top easy to install. I receive comments all the time on how awesome it made the controller look. Everything functions properly and the buttons respond as if the controller was brand new.

Great product for those who know how to take apart their controllers and its an amazing color however like all metal buttons they aren't perfect so they can rattle but if you don't mind that they are perfect

WRONG COLOR.I ordered Purple aluminum buttons to best match the color of my Generation2 purple controller. When I opened the box, I was saddened to see PINK buttons instead. I've seen others report this issue before, so I figured I hop on board and mention it as well. The pink ones don't look bad but doesn't fit the color scheme I had intended. Perhaps if I has ordered Black buttons, Purple ones would have been sent. ;)Issues?The right side buttons, (X, Circle, Square, Triangle) have a slight gap around them. They don't fit as snug in their slot as the Original buttons do. This may be an issue for some, I'll see how it holds up over time. I don't think I'll mind it but we'll see over time, it may require more frequent cleaning in the future since there is a slightly larger gap.I could NOT leave the PINK Sticks installed, I had to swap them back for the Original ones.Before closing up the controller, I did a "dry test", clicked the buttons, maneuvered the sticks and everything felt perfect...aside from the lateral looseness of the action buttons. So I closed up the controller and did a final test feel before screwing the controller together. To my Horror... the RIGHT stick immediately started sticking in the down position.. In other words, when moving the right stick down, it stayed in that position on its own before eventually moving back to center. Obviously this can't be so basically I ended up not using the sticks.Note: The left stick was fine, only the right stick presented this issue.Note: These sticks DO in fact rest higher up than the originals. The original ones sit deeper on the mechanism.THE ISSUE WITH THE STICKS MIGHT BE UNIQUE TO MY PURPLE CONTROLLER, THE PURPLE CONTROLLER IN GENERAL OR THIS SPECIFIC CAST OF THE ALUMINUM PIECES. PERHAPS THE SLOT WASN'T CAST DEEP ENOUGH TO COMPENSATE FOR THIS.ALSO... I couldn't determine this since it's not mentioned on the product description, the Purple controller is a Generation-02 model (CUH-ZCT2U). Could these buttons be designed for Generation01 controllers?Anyway, overall quality of material is excellent.I would recommend this product but only after making yourself aware if it matches your controller model. Hopefully you get the color you ordered.

Wish it came with a touchpad to match other then that i love it

Buttons are ok, look good, but the thumbsticks are too loose. They dont fit att all... So af of the kit is not worth it.

Love the easy install and the colours looks great but the thumb sticks get sore on the thumbs after a little bit

Work and fit perfect for the second gen controller, I'm only removing one star due to the color is not a s dark as it shows in the picture and I wanted a nice dark purple but it's actually closer to a pink than a purple. Otherwise this is a great product that is easy to install and works flawlessly!
